Anton B a 3.5 second 0 to 60 is a snail compared to Tesla's 2.3. also a Tesla would be much cheaper than this. If we want to compare with the same price, it has no match to the Tesla roadster with a 1.9 and 255 mph cap.

VW are installing 2000 350 KW chargers across the USA. Considering VW own Porsche, one can assume they will be compatible. And I doubt the UN, EU and hopefully US gov will allow non compatible chargers, it could be a life or death situation. What if you are rushing a pregnant woman to hospital and need to top up? What if the ambulance needs to top up? And so on. Cannot be hunting around for a compatible charger, they ALL need to use the same connectors, safety electronics and protocols. Think USB-C / Thunderbolt, but for EVs!

Porsche is investing in very fast charge stations that will give 85% or so of charge in 15 mins. It is the only way to make electric cars viable versus novelty items for play.

DMS Inc. You won't notice much of a change, because cars are not the biggest factor in polluting. Not even the second biggest. And yes, not even the third. So if tommorow all cars would become full electric, it wont reverse the polluting effect. However, it is good for technology and research, as well as performance.

just remember the first hybrid car was build by Ferdinand Porsche himself around the 19th century but wasnt a success because gasoline engine were more accustomed by the people and the batteries were to heavy (which was a problem for the first modern hybrid cars too)

Consider using other name. Taycan is a grilled chicken skewer in Indonesia

Elmao You're right, but Porsche Taycan is the direct son of Porsche Mission E. Mission E as a concept car and Taycan is the first "official" car, so techincally the Pfister Neon is based on Mission E AND, now, Taycan. But probably R* won't give a fuck and will release a new Pfister based on Taycan.

The only thing I could think about while watching this video was Tesla. Without that company pushing forward the electric car movement, I doubt companies like Porsche would be producing an electric car like this. Tesla wasn't the first to do it, but they were the first to do it well. Whatever happens to the company long term, I will always appreciate their contribution to the progress of humanity. Cool car!

Ok, but you never really know what Tesla will be coming out with when they release it. It already has unbelievable specs and Elon musk even tweeted this: twitter.com/elonmusk/status/1005577738332172289 So I just think you never really know how each competing car will stack up against the competition until they're released. And it's also not even about being first, yeah that's great if they're coming out with their cars first but Tesla can already pretty staggering things with just the Model S P100D, which isn't even a hypercar.

Shows the industry’s confidence in electric cars and finally puts them in the main stream, so Tesla is no more ‘that odd electric car company’ (which they most definitely were when I bought the stock in 2011). Looking forward to see how quickly we can change a 0.1% global e-car market to a 50% e-car market (the transition to 50% smartphones took around 4 years).

In einem Jahr oder so kommen sehr viele Autos die 25K oder weniger kosten und 400 Kilometer Reichweite haben ... Wäre heute schon möglich, wenn die Autoherstelle die Elektroautos ein klein wenig subventionieren würden. die deutschen Autohersteller verarschen ihre Kunden von vorne bis hinten. Guck dir mal den Bmw i3 an 40.000€ und 300 Kilometer Reichweite, bestenfalls. Mini Kleinwagen auch noch. muss ich noch was sagen? Uber. Google Waymo. Intel Mobileye. Cruise Automation. China Baidu. die werden den deutschen die Butter vom Brot nehmen. zu Recht! So innovationsfeindlich und ängstlich wie die sind.

Nur schade dass Bmw zum Beispiel auf platz 2 der weltweit verkauften Stromer ist und stellenweise Tesla überholt Ein weiterer Vorteil von bmw ist du bestellst dir dein auto und bekommst es auch xD Noch dazu sind die stromer vom grund auf made in germany... Also die komplette karosserie und antrieb. Batterien werden in den nöchsten 2 jahren ebenfalls vom bmw selber in deutschland gemacht... Schon mal in in nem nissan leaf drinnen gesessen? Nein? Ich schon und die Verarbeitung und Material sind mal übelst grottig und billig... Wenn ich mir hingegen den i3 anschaue habe ich eine voll Karbon karrosse und kann mir sogar echtholz reinklatschen lassen.... Ganz zu schweigen von dem geräusch pegel im nissan Also man mus auch mal die Qualität und wo das zeug gemacht wird in betracht ziehen... Da is es klar dass bmw doppelt so teuer ist als nissan...
