Very difficult for me to sing but I tried. And will continue to. Beautiful also I think I got a few of the words at least some of the words. But some of the words are difficult to keep up with cuz I am just singing it for the first. Very nice very beautiful very good voice🎉🎉🎉🎉❤😢. Don't know a damn thing about Russian😊

I just love this simplicity and good taste in treatment of so otherwise overused melody. Everything fits together just right. Nothing overdone, nothing over-showed off - all in total balance. It really works very well. I truly enjoyed it to my biggest surprise!

My mother used to sing me this as a lullaby when I was a child and I thought I'd never hear it again. Recently I was trying to remember the word she sang it in Ukrainian because it's a Ukrainian song. It's very sitting that they're playing at now but this is the only jazz version I've ever heard.

In Indonesia, specially in the West Java Province, that song was called Panon Hideung, same meaning in your language that is Dark Eye. This is an amazing things, as friendshipness between Russia and Indonesia. It began wen Russia composser in early 20th century ago come and visit Indonesia.

I haven't heard many Russian melodies, this is great, draws you right in. Obviously a jazz treatment of something created in quite another idiom, nice, the clarinet doing some more folk elements in contradistinction to the percussion/piano/bass.

i dont speak russion... but the melody is good... singer and band seems to be enoying this piece... i play the video - open the translated version to english in another window... just so I know what the song means... and its good! :)
