I don't care what anyone says, she DESERVED to do THAT Charleston AGAIN! it was the best dance of the series for me and was the best Charleston i've ever seen. This dance had the best lifts out of all the showdances especially at the end!

Yeah, thank god that final elimination has since been removed

She was so slender and light, even I could throw her around like a paper bag! The fact that she added so much grace to quite extreme lifts, including the famous Dirty Dancing one, was remarkable.

I really wanted her to get through to the next round, because I really wanted to see her Charleston again. Every time I tried to vote for her, all I got was an engaged tone. And I felt the judges under-marked her for most of the series.

It is a shame that I felt Brendan's choreography wasn't up to the same level he had been for the rest of the series. Usually Sophie is amazing at lifts but the excessive amount made them look sloppy and the small bits of dancing she did do were a tad messy. Still wish she had got to the final 3 rather than Susanna but I feel like maybe this is what ruined their chances slightly.

It's because the producers have a lot to do with picking almost EVERY thing when it comes to the show dances. It's a shame because some really don't showcase their best and that's what they're supposed to do but they're so intent on making all the finalists (four now..!) look different from another that they forget the authenticity and whole point of a show dance in the first place.

Actually I would have said that Denise Van Outen had more lifts in her showdance! There were only lifts in the chorus whereas in Denise's showdance there were lifts every 30 seconds!

Love me a bit of Sophie. Not at all surprised you looked so good with a professional dancer. I imagine you have rhythm in your bones. Wish l saw that series, would have deffo been shouting for you unless of course u were head to head with Dara O Brian or Daniel O Donnell, got to fly the flag and all that stuff. Anyway for me Sophie Ellis B jumps my heart a wee life's better cause of dee.

Sophie and Jill are my favourite all time Strictly contestants then Trixie.I felt Craig last year was having fights with Brendan and due to that taking it out on Sophie, under marking her. It was obvious by how they interacted when Brendan and Sophie would finish dancing. I felt a lot of weeks other judges under marked her. Like this year no way should Trixie have gone in the Quarter-Final. Many online have said Dracy looked shocked when Trixe was put out and it seemed she gave Simon a pity vote not expecting him to get through dance off. All the people each year moaning as some on it were former stage school kids, so what, they learn different dancing to strictly so not much of an advantage to them. I think Trixie, Colin, Sophie the best dancers to not win Strictly. Colin would have won if Erin had choreographed a better show dance not them dancing with puppets to show off how Colin can dance on his own.

I tried to vote for Sophie for 20 minutes but all I got was the engaged tone.I feel something was not right how come Sophie was never in the bottom two but the others were,I think the voting was steered with phone lines not accepting votes.The BBC will not reveal voting statistics ?

When I tried to vote for her, I got an engaged tone too. I called again and again, and each time I wasn't able to get through. I just assumed that loads of people were voting for her and that was why, so when she was the first one off, I was really shocked. I mean, her name was the first one that was called out when they announced who had got through to the final, and she was never in the dance-offs either. I didn't think Susannah did so well, I thought she would be out. The only way we'll know if the phone lines were rigged is if other people who voted for Sophie had the same problem.

Why didn't she go through instead of Abbey, whose showdance was by far the worst? Though based on overall dance ability, Susanna should have been booted. Poor Sophie..

Jesus H Christ. When God was giving out legs there must have been an abundance of dwarves the next day! That looked incredible (the dance, not just the legs!).

Not enough steps. Too many lifts, I would have thought this was a week 2 or 3 dance.

I can see a stick dancing. No grace.
