@@angelflorence Actually maybe not. Because you "can" and should wash your hands/gloves a lot. Subway just throws a lot of plastic around to "save time". Technically speaking its dodgy to touch cheese, meat and vegetables and not was your hands in between. I dont want to throw shade at Milad, but you can see him doing this frewuently, touching cheeese and putting a full hand into some veggies.

I make over $20 per hour now at my job currently, but i would seriously really enjoy working at Subway again. It was my first job ever at age 16, and it was such a fun experience.

@@YelloHoes what's subway have to do with it? flatbread is thousands of years old i don't care if it's at subway or at the f***ing top of mount everest , if you are surprised at seeing a wrap being made you are a joke to your ancestors and shows how the new generations have no clue on their roots.

As someone who works in food service, I find that when the gloves aren't going on I ask the customer to wait 30 seconds while I go back to the freezer and put the gloves on in the freezer. They go on so much easier that way especially if you just washed your hands or they are a bit sweaty mid rush

These vids are so relaxing to watch, I never thought id be spending my day listening to a dude at work makin sandwiches, yet here I am lol

You prepare sandwiches like I wish I was allowed to prepare them. Minus the meats and stuff which you have to be pretty strict about counting, you don't put "just 8 olive slices" on, you grab a reasonable handful/pinch and add it on for all the veggies. I wouldn't have to ask double veggies when I come to you. I love you Mulan Myland.

Protip: ask for "a little extra/a bit more of x" instead of "double x" AFTER they put the first bit of it, and usually they up the amount a little without charging extra. Obviously anecdotal and doesn't apply to every store, but it's worth asking.

@@kevinb5417 My trick is "a bit more... a bit more.. yeah that's good" and the employees are usually very willing and also ask "is that enough?" -- so it seems very common to me that Employees will give you as much as you want without charging extra as long as you don't bog down the line and know the appropriate way to ask/let them ask.

Probably a lot. There’s some videos and likely times we don’t see that it takes 3-5 seconds to get the slices apart. Which is very understandable and no hate at all because gloves can mess up or slow down anyone at times especially when they are required to be worn.

That stuff looks so much better than Australian Subway. Much more variety and a lot more generous with the serving size. I work in a venue that contains a Subway so if I flash my ID I get a free cookie. So I'm living the dream. What a time to be alive. Paid like $11 for a 6in pizza sub but I take the small victories where I can get them.

@@CodenameHaswelly my dad's a doctor. the gloves he uses for surgery already has a similar powder inside that makes your hand slip right in those super tight gloves. baby powder is safe. it's like saying don't use hand sanitizer because it's not safe to eat. duh, don't eat it, clean your hands with it then wear gloves 🤦🏻‍♂️

I also make unfair use of a lots of policies, like the refund, Free delivery etc, but only if the employee isn't penalised for it. Some schemes literally involve employees giving out their salary for my compensation

Milad you gotta start buying the plastic gloves that aren’t so baggy and are much easier and quicker to put on. Those baggy gloves are the worst especially when your hand is damp from washing. They come 100 in a box instead of 500 but the price difference is worth the convenience
