If you ever get a chance, go see 'em live - it's a helluva fun night! Took my wife to see them for her birthday, they *opened* with this, and the energy level went thru the roof and just...stayed there. She listens to this one whenever she's down, amps her right back up again.

Yes! This is how we all felt when we first heard them...that's why we love watching reaction videos. It is so fun to relive this feeling through watching others get to experience it for the first time.

You have to react to Natural Disaster live. Avi breaks the sound barrier and the whole bass line is wild. Also, Hey Mama/Hit the Road Jack live is the one where Avi blows the speakers! They're both must watch.

Yep...Maisie Jones and several other celebrities (Tyler Ferguson, Hoda Kotb, etc.) are in this video! They sent this song out to their followers and had them make videos to send in...it's fantastic love to their fans! I'll watch this over and over...any time!!

You need to listen to “Run to you”, and if you want a sweet lullaby for your daughter try Light in the Hallway. If you want one like Daft Punk, try their original Love Again. These are all originals.

I second Light in the Hallway for a lullaby for your baby girl. My 6-year-old son asks for it every night before bed. It helps him settle right down!

Avi did leave the group in 2017 on good terms. And that same year they added Matt, who is awesome also. I saw them in concert in 2018 and this is the song they opened with.

My two favorite PTX originals are this one and "Can't Sleep Love", but I put Superfruit's "Guy.exe" as something that must be seen.

And everybody, I mean everybody, is in this video!

I wholeheartedly agree with you regarding their original works. They are so criminally underrated and deserve to get national airplay on every radio station. They have 2 full albums of original work, the most recent being The Lucky Ones - Deluxe version, released in February 2021. Only a few of the songs have videos, but they all have a visualizer version which are probably some of their best songs. That entire album is absolute FIRE!!!! My favs - Happy Now (video available), Never Gonna Cry Again (visualizer only), Petals (visualizer only), Anchor (visualizer only), Be My Eyes (video available), Love Me When I Don't, and Midnight in Tokyo with Little Glee Monster. You can't go wrong with any of their works!

Yes it's Maisie Williams from Game of Thrones! She's a really good friend of Scott and Mitch's! If you look closely there are a lot of their famous actor and KZreadr friends as well as a lot of their fans! You were KO'd not 'Kev's! You are so right, their originals hit different! They are so criminally under-rated for their originals songs which should be played on the radio continuously and be number 1 but they're just so well known for their covers and Christmas songs. Please do Love again next! It's EDM and has an alien/steampunk vibe! I would watch their official video for it and then watch the version recorded in a back stage room just with their voices and Kevin has one microphone. You really see how they use their voices then. It's amazing!

I heard "Somebody That I Used To Know" back in 2012. I've never looked back. I'm a dyed-in-the-wool Pentaholic, now. Check out their "Love Again"...another original.

I think you'd really love checking out their beginnings in the Sing Off (Season 3), There's about 12 songs in total as well as the Finale where they announce the winner, they come back for a few more songs over the years but definitely check it out! It is amazing to see how they started out and to see their progress and growth now. Mitch was bullied a lot as a kid because of his high voice and on the sing off they downplay his sexuality and didn't really high light his skills in the heavens and when they did stuff for the Trevor Project (an organization that helps with LGBTQIA kids that suffer from depression and suicidal tendencies) they didn't make mention that it's an LGBTQIA group, so Mitch did a lot of lower register stuff on the competition and only ever get a slight 'mitch-slap' moment I believe on their 12th performance. Kirsty has really come into her own since the Sing Off - she is SO much more confidant now and it is so beautiful to see!

Yes that was, and the other is some girl named Anna Kendrick,,,,and other Pentaholic celebs sent in their clips lol. Yep that's how I felt LOL. This is the one you realize Scott is a pure badass, Kirstin but she goes by Kirstie like Thirsty. These people are so real, at their Star on Hollywood day, the audience gathered but they were in a place they couldn't really see but when they were done they came over and talked with all and signed autographs till all were done, just real (and yes to fricking talented lol)

I only discovered them last year at this time. At first I kept thinking “how is it getting better and better?” 🤯👈🏼 me every time, every song, still.

I agree Pentatonix original music is amazing!! I love them all, but for some reason, the music industry does not give them airtime sadly! I also think that many of their covers are better than the original artists version. Just my opinion. Great reaction!!

You can watch them at work in the studio in the video RECORDING OF EVERGREEN.. it is fascinating to watch and listen to their musical genius.. also see how Ben Bram (arranger/producer who has been with them from day 1) works with them and directs them at times..

Yes, that was Maisie Williams from GoT. She's a big fan of PTX, and has appeared on at least 2 episodes of SuperFruit, the side project Scott (tall blonde) and Mitch had on KZread for several years. While PTX keeps their videos PG, SuperFruit definitely doesn't. PTX announced to their Patrons that they would be filming at a landmark in LA, and if you wanted to be in the video, show up - so all of their fans did!

By this point in their career they could afford better locations to shoot than their closet ( Daft Punk filmed in a closet and production after was more) I would suggest " Can't Hold Us" a cover of Macklemore and Ryan Lewis. Also duet with Dolly Parton Jolene( won a Grammy) and Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy ( also won a Grammy) orig is a ballet so there are NO lyrics. I also like Havana, The Prayer, Amazing Grace. They do have a few videos with instruments. Kevin on Cello for example, but you clearly see the instrument. They also perform live and sound the same.

Original songs allow them to be original and there is a freedom in that. I think that is what you were saying, and yes, their original songs are amazing. I love their work. (MY favorite original song is Happy Now.) They haven't done a cover or original (or independent project) that I haven't liked.
