Says the design was always the same, shows phones of different designs... And the says that they refine the design year after year. However, despite me disagreeing with you about the Dynamic Vibration, as I think it's good for gaming, I think you did an amazing job with this video. Keep it up.

I bought my Xz2 refurbished just to get rid of my Canon G7X Mark II. Stupid Canon, makes me in debt. I sold my Canon with new price. I had it about 5 months.

ZFAL1-الحمدلله دائما dont forget that xz2P will weight 236g... Hope your pocket can handle it xD Seriously, i think Sony is still not going in the right way. Still got huge bezels. Bulky back. Fingerprint sensor in a bad place. No IOS... Last Sony Xperia i got was Z1 Compact... Its sad for Sony.

pluunpseudodispo 236g is not too much. Besides, the heavier the phone, the better the build quality. Also, OIS is not needed, EOS 5 axis is far superior.

"its no galaxy s9 or p20 in low light" what does that even mean? Those are not better than the xz2.. the p20 is super over saturated, and the galaxy s9 looses detail over sharpness, and in both cases its not that it makes the fotos worse than the xz2 but it also doesnt make them better..

Actually XZ2 is the one which goes overboard with colour saturation and contrast at night... Galaxy S9 is fine with colours but dynamic range is a bit lacking and noise reduction is way to aggressive, P20 Pro retains all the colours and has the widest dynamic range though some people may not like how it processes details... I would say XZ2 is mostly on par with S9 in low-light though loses out P20 Pro by a large margin when all things considered. And I'm pretty sure XZ2 Premium will be as good as or even better than P20 Pro in low-light.

XtraDreamLantern17 have you tried turning off the triluminous display or setting both of the pictures on a pc or tv screen and comparing or are you just taking them from the phones prespegtive

Not having a headphone jack is irrelevant because the Sony Experia xz2 comes with an adapter where you plug your headphones into the charging port, it does not effect the audio. You can always choose wireless headphones as well. I have never used my phn without a cover so I had no idea its slippery and spins, lol. Thanks for the review.

I still have this phone since 2 years and never and ever have any kind of issues with it , for me until now is the best smartphone I ever had

Jesus Perez My issue is that I listen to music and charge my phone at the same time to help my anxiety at night. I lose that ability if I go full wireless. I can't say other people's reasons but for me it's a complete deal breaker. In addition, this is Android. I shouldn't have to conform, I should have options.

anthony get the xz1 instead. its the last of Sony's iconic design and has a headphone jack and its at a good price.

Great phone and good review by you sir, I have been using this phone for the last 2 weeks. It is GREAT with great looking and a lot of battery live to use even with gaming and 4G network the design in the hand is gorgeous and it will catch every eye around you when you show up the phone

@@_Pet_Tech I just got this phone yesterday and I am using a Ringke brand case for it which I picked up on Amazon and it doesn't feel thick or too heavy at all. It has a nice weight to it and it feels very premium. Best Buy had a sale on Sony Xperia XZ2 devices and I had to hop on it. I love this phone so much and it's probably my favorite phone I've ever had

Sony does something special with hardware and attention to detail. They need to do another tablet. Their tablets are best hardware design out there.

I disagree with you on DVS, it is my favorite feature and very practical especially on music or music videos, and action scenes. It works and vibrates smartly not just overall vibrates on any sound

0:28 That's what I hate about all reviewers.... Intially they will say the design gets boring which was all about function then when the company changes it, they will call out that function is lost. Kindly stick to one view

Not really. The old designs had the same functions as the new design. But the new design is impractical with its slippery back.

Actually the design wasnt the same year after year. It did changes, but the common theme was a rectangular shape that they did differently. And for me that design was amazing, and I really not into this new design.

Jerry Berglund I miss being able to hang my phone charms they removed it from the Xperia X onwards.

I love the vibration system. Especially on action movies. It's quite unfair to forget about.

Had mine for two years, still never try it underwater. Bought a leather case for it to solve the sliding off the bed problem. Like listening to music w/it. Recommend a FLITZ microfiber cloth for polish & cleaning of phone.

Great and honest review. Due an upgrade and have been using Sony for 5-6 years but toying with the this, the Samsung s9 or huawei p20 pro but at a cross road to know which to get. So disappointed with fps on the back instead of the side which would have been far more preferable.

The thing is that sony advertises all these audio-enhancing goodies that don't work on bluetooth headphones...in a phone without a 3,5mm jack. This is just rediculous.

I really like this phone and the compact version. I had an s8 plus. Sony is really making solid products in my opinion.

Awesome video, but how come you forgot to talk about it's ability to record 4K HDR videos?

I can't agree on the whole video image stabilization. It kinda looks bad when you were walking around. AF seems to jump around a bit as well as a lot of shaking.

my opinion * for starters, yes, it's plenty fast. 50% faster if you install custom rom on it. * gaming-wise, you play codm on this thing maxed out no problems * the camera is a bit ouch though, even worser than my old iphone 6s so i had to keep the iphone around only to take pictures * battery, it's good. even better than the iphone * speakers are more to the soft side tbh. the sound level of 80% volume set is same as my 6s with only a single speaker. i expect stereo speakers to be louder lol 😂 i'm planning to upgrade my xz2 to pixel 3 :(. yes, xperia phones are cheap but there are compromises i can't tolerate and this isn't my first time using an xperia phone. i came from xz1 from x performance from x compact

I love the improved camera. So makes me wanna wait for the review of the premium with those new faster apertures. Still annoys me that Sony just doesn't give a s*** about RAW output. It's sooo opposite of what they are doing with the Alpha/mirror less lineup.
