We had a 1st gen Echo in our master bathroom for listening to music in the morning kzread.infoUgkxABghAEkaIDGZfHRBH3D3rBrlraNmnC71 and while in the shower. I didn't realize how tinny and awful the sound output on the original Echo was until we replaced it with the Studio. It was a sonic upgrade far beyond what I was expecting. Just wow. I love it because it's like having speakers IN the shower. My friend likes it because the music is so loud that she can no longer hear me singing. So that's a win-win.

No regret on having the XB10 Wohoo !

I have both, xb12 definitely is better than xb10. Yes you can hear more bass on xb10 at low volume, but will start distort at max volume while xb12 maintain the bass clean and deep

Yes the Bass is weaker because they want to conserve the audio quality. But the you can still use an equalizer.

Xb10 bass is more distorted, especially at higher volumes

Xb12 is better in terms of vocal and clarity, if you are a bass person go for xb10 but if you love vocal such as pop songs, go for xb12

I have been using xb10 since they came out. My 10 has been beat all to hell, but it's tough as nails. Just got my new xb12, and it definitely has a better sound in person. I just hope it's as durable

Bass is the same with xb10 but the xb12 is a soft bass that u can't hear the loud bass sound but the xb10 is a distortion bass

It is NOT, the pairing function is only compatible between two XB12, they say it on their website

I measured both and in real world XB12 has definetly a lil bit less bass ;) Maybe you can find both in a local store for a comparison, than you will hear it by yourself...

@@techkistenet xb10 has distorted bass which is more apparent at max volume. Xb12 has clearer bass which is why it sounds lesser but the sound quality is much better

XB10 is also waterproof.

@@ashutoshyadav9343 Who told you that? Did you just read it somewhere rather experiencing it? Mine is a year old and still punches out a good 8 hours back up when playing on 70% output.. That's a paisa vasool imo.. Flip 3 has a back up of 10 hours..
