Sony Vlogger Microphone ECM-G1 | First Impressions
The Sony Vlogger Microphone ECM-G1 is an amazingly compact shotgun microphone, but just how well does it record audio? I picked one up and took it for a spin to see if it will replace my Rode VideoMic.

I'm not aware of this microphone being able to connect to an iPhone

Yeah I kept the microphone, i think it’s great in a pinch since I don’t really have to think about settings if I’m vlogging and talking to my camera at arm’s length and if the environment isn’t too loud
But what about vs the rode mic ?
