ive been using this speaker for 1 year now, almost everyday. The battery degrades over time, but overall its a great speaker. The sound is on par with JBLFLIP4. I'd say i get around 7 hours of playing time after 1 year. Playing loud of course.

This speaker needs a break in period before it works right.Basically,you go to EQ and set BASS to MAX then MID to HALFWAY then LAST slider to MAX and then after a few days the EQ kicks in and the missing "mids" and massive "boomy" BASS is replaced by a very SMOOTH sound thats perfect and sounds like the SB20

And the full waterproofing ... And for the XB31, it's finally a MicroUSB used for charging, it's about time, even though they could have gone with USB C.

Yup I agree get these Sony’s. As of 04/16/19 xb31 is $99.99 and xb21 is $69.99. Stay away from their competitor JBL. I bought flip 4 and Charge 4, returned them for these Sony’s. JBL Charge 4 is trash ass mono. I love these XBs and staying with Sony from now on. Trust me, Sony is the way to go.

Can you power the speaker on from the Music Center App? Or is physically turning on the device with the power button the only way to turn it on?

You can do it on the speaker two by holding down the battery button

Someone who already bought it,plz explain me.. Why tf the battery lasts so little? I play music for 1.40 hour at full volume and then it drops dramatically..so I can only enjoy the music in the street just for almost two hours ?? At first I thought there must be something with the battery and I send it back to Sony but they told of me that this is its natural action...disappointed

XB40 = £99 that's the one to buy
