Little correction, is not the Catalyst Browse that will have integration with Premiere, but the paid Catalyst Prepare. $$

Update 2.0 broke audio recording on two different FX3 cameras. How many of you have the same problem? Worked fine on 1.1

Hey Tiberious, maybe you exported a LUT bigger than 33x33x33? Everything I created with Davinci Resolve worked like a charm. Tip for all of you: get a False-Colour LUT for additional monitoring options 😉

The Sony update procedure is such garbage. But glad you're enjoying the camera!

You are not even lying… like WHY does it have to be so difficult where I have to boot my MacBook in recovery to do it lol Should be able to update in the camera, connect to wifi and update like you do a phone lol

I have mixed feelings about the update. Lots of people complaining about one thing or another lol. Gonna hold off a bit on updating mine.

But before you do make sure to make note of all your settings prior! It reset mine and I didn’t realize it was going to do that

The tech for internal ND’s and IBIS in the same camera body doesn’t really exist yet. That’s the main reason it’s not in the FX3; besides the fact that it utilizes the design of the a7s3 as a jumping off point, which was built from the ground up to have IBIS. But being such a small, lightweight camera, it definitely makes more sense to have IBIS to help with handheld work.

Do you mean with just on camera audio or are you referring to the xlr handle audio?

Can anyone help? I updated my FX3 and and now when trying to shoot log, my Ninja V won't record 4K to the SSD in the Ninja... When I try to change the HDMI output to 4k, Its greyed out when trying to change it. But when I turn log off, the Ninja is able to record 4k again.

That’s very interesting, I’m not too sure what the workaround is, I only own the shinobi for viewing. I ran into my own issues of the screen not working in 4k60 until I realized it couldn’t output that and I switched my output to 1080.. but I am looking to do the ninja V upgrade! So i hope there’s an answer for it!

@@TiberiousGreene Turns out you have turn log off and then go into Picture Profile and turn SLOG3 on in there and then good to go.

I just bought a brand new M2 MacBook Pro, I'm terribly afraid to brick a brand new M2 just to do the V2 Firmware update. Sad.

I heard not too long ago that after the Sony A7IV they are using sd cards not but I could be wrong, honestly it’s not that bad to do it and it won’t brick your M2.. I added links below to help just follow them and all should be good

@@TiberiousGreene Thanks for the info. I just used my wife’s PC laptop and did the update to V2. The update took about 15 minutes and that was it. Cheers.

Hey there, I'm trying to download this update, and it won't download. The Sony site pops up with a message saying "Distribution will be suspended until we can inform you of modified version. (August 24, 2022)" Am I missing something here? I really appreciate the help.

Did you try by search or did you use links below, at the time of this video those were all the links I used to update it? It’s strange because that’s the error people are getting with the A7IV.. Sony camera updates are unnecessarily a pain in the ass

Perfect video camera.. well, no shutter angle, no true 24p, no interlace option (standard for many tv networks) - just to mention a few. And the sad thing is that it should be technically possible to add these features. Hope dies last..

Embedding luts and not embedding luts I know about, and yes I do know why they do and dont change on the footage captured
