LUTS NOT WORKING on The Sony FX3/FX30?

Why are LUTS imported on my FX3 Not Working? some seem to work just fine while others get a big error screen? for a few weeks this was driving me up the wall and i couldnt find an answer anywhere! so after some trial and error i decided to make this video for other people who might be looking for the same answer and a fix for getting luts to work on the sony fx3 after the firmware update 2.0! If this is a problem youre having feel free to watch it through and hopefully it will help you too!
UPDATE: This also applies to The Sony FX30 as well!!

MVP bro. I had issues with trying to import into my Sony ZV-e1 Luts. This helped a ton.

That’s the first for me with the zve1 I never tested that! Glad it worked in that scenario

Hello Tiberious, why i cant generate the lut? if i click 33 or 65 it's not saving as cube or nothing...

It should work, you have to right click on the thumbnail on the film strip in the color tab! It’s probably exporting the folder within the installed files, try finding the root folder for davinci!

okay, so I know this video was posted a while ago, for whatever reason, they import but no colors show why is this happening?

I would just love shutter angle and false color that’s it lol… oh and imagine the took a page from GoPros book and gave us a 4k full frame 8x7 sensor that we can use and crop 4k widescreen and vertical

@@TiberiousGreene I found a low-res false color LUT that I just uploaded as a lut into the FX3. It’s not SUPER accurate, but it’s enough to help on the fly.
Why can I not see "Tiberious" in the LUTs folder in Davinci?

It's hard to watch the video I'm worried because I can't solve it. Sony doesn't even tell me how to fix it Is there any other way?

This is the only way I found to solve it, it’s more of a work around.. it’s annoying if I’m being honest.. Sony can’t tell you how to fix it because the feature doesn’t allow it.. I was in your boat fed up that’s why I found a solution and made a video.. definitely not the easiest way but it’s the only way I found.. they could easily fix it with a firmware update 🤷🏻♂️
