As good as the Sony Alpha range of cameras like the A6400, A6500, A6600 and the ZV E10 are at shooting video, they can overheat and shut down, not only is this very frustrating, but it's not doing your camera any good either.

The A6400 is a great little camera that punches way above it's price, I use one with the Sigma F1.4 30mm and Vitrox F1.4 23mm. Great tips. My Sony A7IV overheated in the middle of a wedding ceremony yesterday. I shoot in 4K so think I’ll shoot in 1080p for that part of any future weddings just in case. I’ve owned it few years and it’s the first time it’s done that. Wasn’t doing anything different to normal.

I laughed when you said "you can move to the UK." I live in Hawaii and is hot 🔥 every day. All of my electronic heats up sooo fast 😢lol I lived in the UK before.

But the ZV-1 has very soft 1080p. You need to record in 4K and downsampled in post.

If I use dummy battery, if the indoor temperature is 30°C, can the ZV-E10 / A6400 record continuously for 3 hours at 4k 24p?

A dummy battery will increase your chances of being able to record for longer
How can i get a visa to come and stay in the UK because here in Australia my camera is overheating.
