I got my A6500 for $683 USD ($925 CAD) and it's great. Shame I got it a week before the A6700 came out but hey ho, It will work for my uses. Battery life seems great, no complaints there.

    A6500 + sigma 16 mm 1.4 is a deadly combo

I recently traded my Panasonic G9 for the a6500 and the Sigma 16mm f/1.4. I should be getting them soon. I'm pretty excited.

Just got the A6500 to be used underwater as well. I hope you have underwater footage content available 😅 I'm upgrading from the Olympus TG-6.

I still have an a6500 as my only camera. The a6600 was a bit of a disappointment. A bigger battery and better grip is nice, I wanted a better EVF and screen and a new sensor. I have a lot of APS-C lenses so I am not ready to upgrade to full frame. If Sony kill APS-C it is cheaper to buy an a7Rvi than to buy an A7iii and a bunch of new lenses.

I recently got one while vacationing in Japan for around $475. I love it. I wish the screen would face forward but that’s a small drawback for how cheap it was and how great it’s been otherwise

The 6500 is so trim and modern. I love it. I am tempted by the rx1 but I have to shoot some pro video once in a blue moon. Sadly I donˋt think I could get away with buying both!

I have the a7iii, a6500 and Ricoh GR II on the digital side. The 10-18 lens is the reason I can't let it go of the apsc body yet as Sony has no real answer for that focal length for FF. I can't see the a6600 as an upgrade from the a6500 practically... but from a6000 or older it starts to make a lot of sense. Excellent video and you just earned a subscriber. IG: @freshouttafocus

I still use the A6500 and like it better than my Fuji XT3. Underrated camera. 6600 not worth updating too.

Hi, i am considering to change from a6500 to xt-3. What do you like better on the a6500 if I may ask? Regard

@@BobbyD479 hey, maybe I am just used to the a6500 but to me and my workflow it is easier to edit and sharper. especially if you get the sigma glass, the 56mm f1.4 is amazing. Saying all that I like the xt3 for street photography
