I just bought my sony a6000 and I'm really overwhelmed with all the features, buttons, and possible settings. Out of all the videos I've seen on setting up the camera, yours is the most useful, concise, and the easiest to follow.

@@blendoben i got it for $350 when I commented, which was below the $400ish it was going for. Not $350 seems to be the norm. I might be selling it soon tho, I wanna get a newer one. It is still amazing for photos

This video was so helpful. Your calm manner of speaking with clear instructions was exactly what I needed to learn how to custom set my Sony a6000. Too many other KZread instructors assume we know our camera and screen menus and talk so darn fast. I am subscribing to learn more from you. Thanks!
I just bought my camera last sunday. And it brought me here.

Your videos are amazing. Thank you so much for the help. I have had this camera for a while, and have not done a lot with it. Recently I started spending a little more time getting to know my a 6000. I’ve watched a lot of different videos, but yours are very easy to follow, and I feel a lot more comfortable with my camera now. Thank you so much.
Incredibly helpful! Thank you so much. I'd recommend anyone stop here first after purchasing this camera.
Thanks buddy! Your approach in creating tutorial for A6000 is the most professional among the all I've seen so far. You've started with settings reset and that just says that you know what you are doing! And the tips were useful as well, even though I knew some of them. I definitely gonna watch your other tutorials, thanks again and good luck!
I was prepared to spend the day researching camera settings for different subjects I enjoy photographing. Your cheat sheets saved the day. THEY ARE WONDERFUL. And your style of presenting information is so unassuming and easy to follow. I will be viewing the rest of your videos. Thank you kindly.
I bought this camera 3 days ago and this presentation is of great help for me. Excellent delivery and selection of the material by the presenter.

How could you manage to record the camera screen for this video? That's pretty neat. Please share when you get a minute. Thanks for the tips.
This video look amazing what camera and lens you using in this video ?
Thanks Bro!
That was great!
very good
This was awesome thank you. So clear. So succinct (I wanted a reason to use this word). Anyways, one more question: is there a way to stop the camera from zooming in when I shoot a video?
Just purchased the cheat sheets. What a great idea especially for me as I’m very new to this type of photography. Thank you for the great content. I’m not sure if i need a different lens for astrophotography. Do you have a thought on that or is the kit lens going to be able to do the job? Purchased the a6000 with the 16-50mm lens.
Useful video
thanks for this....could you tell me the best setting to take pics and videos in night clubs...thanks
Very interesting I didn't know about that faster focus setting! Thanks for that. I'm still waiting on my 2 a6000 to arrive. Going to be using them to film a chat show I got going on over here in ibiza called Ibiza Amigos. They will be both plugged into OBS. Any tips on OBS settings for high quality recordings would be greatly appreciated. Keeo up the good work buddy :)
Your video is so nice. Did you also use the same camera? Which settings?
Love your videos. I was wondering can I adjust the shutter speed while shooting in Aperture mode? Or do I have to change modes completely? Took a picture of my son petting our dog and he was crisp but his hands were blurred from moving.
Good video. I looked at your Cheat Sheet page and I am amazed at the work you must have put into all the Cheat Sheets for all the cameras and lenses. I'm going to buy a set for my Nikon D750 and see what you have. I am an intermediate/advanced photographer but I must admit I haven't learned everything about all the menu settings. I usually do everything in Manual mode and if I have time I set my flashes and strobes to manual otherwise I use TTL if I'm moving around and shooting fast. I just bought my grand daughter a Sony a6000. She has a very good eye for composition but has an old Sony a200. If I like your cheat sheets, I'm going to buy her a set for her a6000. thanks, Monty

Hi ! thank you for your informational videos just when I was going to throw in the towel with my a6000. Is there is any way that while filming a video I am able to see whatever is being filmed via a computer or another device? I think this is called live view.
Thanks for the great tips. I am still learning things about this camera. I have had it since it came out 7 years ago. Love the faster auto focus tip during video. Here's a great tip that I learned the other day. You can put a small piece of black tape on the bottom part of the sensor next to the viewfinder. This will prevent the camera from switching to the viewfinder view when you move the camera closer to your body. Now the camera will only switch to the viewfinder when your eye is looking through the viewfinder.
Hi bro ... Plz review best & low price ef to e mount adapter for Sony a6000.... Tq
This was so helpful, thank you. I've had an A6000 sitting on my shelf for a year, but I've been too lazy and nervous to learn the tricks (I'm new to 'proper' cameras), as I'm usually happy enough with the shots from my phones (what a word). It's time I learn to use a proper cam, though!
