Delkims last forever. I had these and the receiver started playing up like if I was a few meters away from my rods it would stop working. Not sure why batterys have been changed. Apart from that there excellent

@@beginnercarpuk7958 Got the soniks was out yesterday in 30 degree heat and the .LEDs on top of the alarms stopped working . Took them back and got a refund.

On the bivvy light it has a magnets under the back plate it pulls off and you can mount your bivvy light anywhere on the inside of the bivvy the plate would set on the out side and the light would hold on to the plate through the fabric materials..I found this out by accident..great feature,👍

What about sideways strike? It looks like the rod could pull out of there easy! Also, is there an outlet that will power illuminated swingers?

am thinking of getting these as they are such a good price didn't think much of but now watching your video may have my mind set as these doo all compare with those big brand names and prices

@@J4D97 very well. Be under no illusion they are very basic and sometimes simply haven’t registered a bite. That could be me on how they are set. All in all as a basic starter kit then a great buy. I’ve also just purchased some Fox MX alarms which were approx £200. For that little extra I’d say they were a far better alarm. Not premium but I couldn’t careless about changing LED colours or “some” of the sensitivity settings which are only ever going to apply in about 1% of an average anglers circumstances. Great review. Ive a set of 4 and think they do the business. I do like the look at its bigger brother though

@@beginnercarpuk7958 However, after watching one of the reviews, if you have more than 4 alarms linked you get different colours. TF the average fisherman only has 2/3 rods.🤣

Hello mate.... Good video..... Just ordered some yesterday.... I'm not sure if you know..... As no one seems to mention it..... But you can actually turn the wheel lights on (very subtle light) for night fishing....not quite sure how yet.... I think its holding down one of the buttons for 5 secs.... Any way hope it helps.... Tight lines!

Hi mate, thank you for the comment, really appreciate it! Yes mate, if you hold down the T button it will turn on the night lights, that was missed on the video but it is a great little feature! Mine are still going strong and you won’t be disappointed mate! 👍

Did you know the bottom of the light the silver plate comes of so you can magnet eny were around your bivvy are bag

Had mine fir yeah and stil never changed my reseiver battery

I’m still using the same ones mate, I’ve had no issues at all!

Am I the only guy that sleeps in his trainers🙈. I've got the smx prologic which is quite similar but let me down recently when it rained bad and the battery life is shocking.

The M button is the memory button, it will show you the last alarm that went off 👍

I use Energizer lithium batteries I must have 500 hrs on my set still working good do alot of 48hr session's every week all season..

Good review very comprehensive & in depth. They look like a decent set of Alarms for the Price but seriously mate you can not compare these to Delkims!! Delkims are light years apart from these and should not even be mentioned in the same breath as these things. That's a bit like comparing a ford to a Ferrari. Sorry but think that was your only mistake otherwise a very good review. 👍

I dropped my buzz bar and all three alarms in about 5 feet of water dragged them out with a landing net and they still work perfectly. The battery life however is not good and when the alarm batteries are getting low the alarm beeps and flashes about every 5 minutes which doesn't help.
