@@jofish1967 just watching ur rig vid and mate dont give up ur doing great so iam happy to sub and help if u need advice if i can offer any ....the alarms were actually a xmas gift from my partner and so managed to get them on amazon for 139 i think it was but i think she had a discount code ....saying that tho i believe they flutter in price between 130 and 150 depending on the time of yr tbh

Just bought these but red one was broke got home took it apart lose wire . All working as they should now in excellent condition got them for £35 liking them so far just gotta get on the bank and test them only thing my receiver don’t seem to turn down

@@oheclipsee972 hi is the red alarm making a sound when you place batteries in the alarm if it makes a sound when they are put in then no it’s not . If you put both batteries in and it doesn’t bleep then it could be the wire . Just get a small screw driver and undo screw inside batteryy cover and pull it apart make sure screw at the bottom ain’t tight as will hold both sides in place . Soon as it’s off will see if it is . Il be honest it’s tricky to get it to weld back on as hardly anything to weld to on battery terminal

@@oheclipsee972 the screw I mean to make sure ain’t tight is the washer nut in the thread on bottom of alarm . Thing there is 4 screws inside battery cover to undo also keep me updated send photos of you need to

I have just purchased these alarms and cannot get the batteries into the compartment. This is on all three alarms. I have asked other people to try and no luck. There is about a 2mm overhang These are the standard AAA batteries. When inserting the batteries I can feel the contacts depress slightly , so installing correctly. How did you find the battery compartment?

i cant say ive done it so not 100%sure but you have a bung that needs pulling out on the receiver and putting a very thin long object say a precision screwdriver into hole to reach the s button press the s button to cycle through the 4 channel positions bright led=channel free low led=channel in use in order to pair an alarm the channel must be free i hope this helps

They are a great alarm, I got new direction s9 ,not impressed, went back to sonik

@@fishittv566 very sensitive to wind ,and the smart band vibration is terrible, but the app that is used for the bite alarms is very handy ,you can control all from bivvy also the head lamp is connected to band

On the top you have that small rubber with s on it . Pull that out it comes out shine a torch in the hole you seen a small rectangle button that’s reset . Push it and hold it to reset receiver . Have all alarms switched on . Push the button once all light flash and stop it will select first led on receiver it will be dim hold the button and it will brighten the led . Alarm is now set to receiver repeat that on all of them test each alarm after you set it so you know it’s connected .

Mine fried in 30 degree heat . Lights and sound stopped working .

@@scat1a yes the old fox alarms were are still are amazing alarms for there time and prob still one of the best .. i know a few ppl with them still from back in the day

The line gaurd has been used on other companies alarms not good.Stick to delks.
