mania is best sonic game imo

It hits in such a different way to hear this, knowing this was supposed to be the big finale, the sunset on the series as a whole, and yet, Sonic still got back up and kept running. This song has gone from a sunset to a sunrise y'know? It's like the whole studio saying, "to hell with it, we're not done till we say we're done," and now with Frontiers doing so well, this song just makes me smile so much

When I think that this game exists only because Sega wanted to end the series after the disaster that was 2006 , being a game with the best graphics of its time, the most different gameplay in the series, an incredible soundtrack, all with the best possible quality and mainly, as Sonic has always proved to be, something unlike anything we've ever seen. It sucks that just because the game is very different, people hated the game, but even so, this will always be the game that brought me closer to the series and that for the first time I felt that HOLY GOD Sonic is fucking fast (by the way this was also the game that revived the series :D)

I fondly remember Sonic Unleashed for this song as it was just brought a smile and excitement to me every time. It started with the demo on the Xbox 360 in Apotos: whenever I beat the demo, I see the promo trailer displaying what the game had to offer, it was a good bonding experience between myself and my little brother when we were younger, we eventually got the game and we enjoyed every moment. Unleashed is for sure my favourite 3D Sonic game with Mania being my favourite 2D Sonic game. Apologies for the gushing, it just brings back good gaming memories.

Sonic Unleashed was the first ever Sonic I've seen before joining the community other than Black Knight, and this song truly makes me remember the first time I saw the game itself and it was amazing (considering I am a teenager now and kinda late to the series but I'm still able to catch up), I loved it so much that I'll never forget the song ever.

This song, and this game, more than any other, perfectly capture the essence of Sonic. He is a carefree, optimistic, wandering soul that just lives in the moment and enjoys life to the fullest. Recently, Sega has been pushing Sonic back on track, making Frontiers a soft reboot of sorts, fixing the broken pieces of Sonic and his friends. I just hope that eventually, we’ll get to see Sonic act like himself again.
