I have a confession. I've only played one Sonic game, and it wasn't even a good one. I impulse-bought this ticket because there was a discount and I live nearby. I've heard and liked some of the music before, but I basically showed up to this concert as a Sonic poser.
I didn't know what to expect, so in the beginning, I was actually was kind of annoyed that the crowd was yelling over the music. I came here to hear the orchestra! But I quickly realized (especially after the intermission) that the audience was half the show. Even though I had no personal investment in the source material, it was incredible to be surrounded by so many people clearly having the time of their lives.
I originally wasn't planning on recording most of this, because of course the quality my phone could manage would be terrible. To start with, I just took my phone out whenever it seemed like something interesting was about to happen. After I realized just how insane this crowd was, I felt like I had to get more on film.
So these highlights are not complete. They're just whatever I happened to get on video. Regardless, I hope this was able to capture a fraction of the energy in the room that night. Both the conductor and lead singer said this was the loudest crowd they've ever seen, and I completely believe it.

They did the same thing in Phoenix just the other day as the closing set, I think they do this for sold out crowds.
They said that at Chicago months ago too haha
I'm guessing this was the 8:00 show? I went to the 3:00 one which wasn't as loud. I guess the late night brings out the loudest crowds

Was it the Memorial Day discount of 15% off? I mostly came by hoping for a secret glimpse of Sonic 3 movie trailer if speculations were true

I didn't get it on video but the conductor explicitly encouraged people to get loud! Even when it was just the orchestra
