Sonic Rush A New Land: Sonic 4 Episode 3 anyone?

gotta love how Slavania Castle's boss starts with having the Aquatic Ruin bird statuse pop up, but then they're smashes as a way of saying "Enough of this copycat stuff!"

Now I want to see Sonic Superstars with Sonic 4 music. I already have some clever ideas written below that you can use. Sand Sanctuary -> Oil Desert Act 2 (a.k.a. Dying ducks music) Pinball Carnival Act Pear -> Casino Street Act 2 (Mobile Version) Bonus Stage -> Special Stage (Episode I) Cyber Station Boss Fight -> Metal Sonic Boss Fight Press Factory Zone -> Mad Gear Zone (Any act music will do) Lagoon City Zone Act 2 -> White Park Act 3 Eggman Boss Music -> Boss Music from either episode (works even better with the Golden Capital Act 2 boss fight)

i thought i was the only one that thought about it legit i thought it came from sonic 4

I wanna see if other musicians will Sonic 4-ify the other songs in Superstars, then that could may as well be a reality

hits perfectly cause jun senoue make the soundtrack of sonic 4 and part of the soundtrack for superstars

In some aspects it is, but it does a much better job at aproximating the classic games' physics and has 2 playable characters. It also looks like the level design is less automated in Superstarts, and that, combined with the lack of the homing attack, should probably make the game a lot more fun than Sonic 4. That, and the multiplayer is expanded to 4 players compared to just 2 of Sonic 4. And while subjective, the abolition of the lives system and the permanent checkpoints help to MASSIVELY mitigate any potential frustration from the level design or the bosses, and makes the game a LOT more accessible than it would otherwise be. Even if a level is technically easy, not everyone enjoys the labyrinthic level design, and knowing that you can retry as many times as you wish without having to redo those maze-like levels again is a MASSIVE plus in my opinion.

It’s not like sonic 4 necessarily, but the music is near spot on with juns tracks

This at least reminds me that while Jun Senoue managed to do plenty of good tracks, he did way better in Sonic 4 than Superstars.

Its pretty sad honestly lol

And even then a few sonic 4 themes are better Like metal sonic and the boss theme

IDKW but this OST fits Sonic 4 more than Superstars

Imo only Dr.Eggman and sorta White Park fit

sonic 4 episode 2 has better graphics than superstars or just say better lighting.

Creo que tiene que ver con el estilo artístico de cada juego Sonic 4 ep2 tenía un estilo más realista con renders pre renderizados, superstars tiene un estilo más cartoon y si mal no me equivoco tiene elemntos 3d reales de fondo

Tbh, neither of both soundtracks seem really bad to me (except superstars bosses)

Hot Take: Sonic 4 E2 is visually superior to Superstars, which is a grotesque looking game.

To be fair, for everything bad this game has, the visual department ain't one of them.

Sonic 4 looks so much better than Superstars..
