Hey, I can hear some Checkpoint in there! Nice Thing to include Hyper Potions In there! Also that Metal Sonic Part sounded so good! Nice music! Great job!

I remember around 2016 when I first saw the first trailer for mania with that song. Great times.

It would be awsome if there is going to be a zone in Sonic Mania called Checkpoint Chase Zone! Not sure what gimmicks it would have, maybe lots of checkpoint related objects?

Lol maybe having a moving checkpoint that's carried by an enemy, maybe one of those side scrolling zones where an enemy would be flying away from you. Something like the Metal Sonic battle from Sonic CD.

You know those things you find in flying battery zone that when you run over em they swing then let go then you end up under the platform you were? Anyway imagine that you pass a check point looking gimmick then it swings you round like a tornado then Sonic is launched when you dunno, jump?

It'd be a chase-oriented zone where you're pursuing Eggman or one of his badniks, but every time you hit a checkpoint you accelerate.

You have to use skill to get around with platforming. The checkpoints move away from you constantly. You accelerate when you hit a checkpoint and slowly slow down.. You chase Dr. Eggman while avoiding debris and the spike wall right behind you.

This checkpoint chase sounds perfect for mania

Checkpoint music AND checkpoint sound good idea

I found this out from 8-bit drummers drum cover and i have to say that this is entirely different compared to other sonic mania soundtracks. It's very unique and it's absolutely great! Good work!

2 minutes in, and I *just* realized that it's a Checkpoint trailer remix! Wow, I'm so stupid!

5 years l8 but this would make for an incredible special stage track

Checkpoint sound

This remix is like what would happen if the final boss fight took place in the special stage engine and you were playing as Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles all at once. Throw the player for a loop and use the trailer theme as a leitmotif for the final showdown. Players would crap themselves if that happened. Edit: start it as a black screen, then have some colored blobs fade in, then shatter like the screen is shattering, then you’re playing as Sonic, and a few seconds later, Tails flies down and drops into his max speed running animation, then you go over a jump ramp at exactly the moment Knuckles breaks out of the ground to your left and begins running alongside you. An onscreen prompt in the Sonic Mania font and color scheme: “GET EGGMAN!” control is returned to the player and you must chase and attack eggman as he drops bombs and items, and each jump button corresponds to a character: A for Knuckles, B for Sonic, C for Tails.

Sounds like something which would fit a "Credits Zone". maybe it'll happen in sonic mania?

I would really like if SEGA based Zones out of Sonic objects, like: "Ring Park Zone", "Monitor Factroy Zone" or somethings like that

Good use of the "trailer" theme.

+VOKER 101 It is familiar! The main melody is taken from "Checkpoint" by Nitro Fun and Hyper Potions. Which is why the zone is named Checkpoint Chase. Except for that melody, the whole rest of the track is original. That's why I classify it as an original composition/remix. I'll check out your work! For sure!
