Easily one of the best stages in Sonic history. Most other base levels have you just beating up a few of Eggman's lackies in one of his many fortresses. Here? You're charging headfirst into his fucking armada and tearing his ships to shreds. THAT'S how you build up for a final battle!

The intro up to the first ramp jump is one of the greatest, most badass moments in Sonic history, hands down

The Absolute presentation and intro in I this stage.. The way it builds up speed and doesn't actually reveal the altitude or the magnitude of Eggmans fleet until you are at the peak of the jump.. The music the asthetic... Absolutely amazing..

This is probably hands down one of THE best levels in the entire franchise

The timing at 3:27 with the music going silent when flying and hitting again when landing was just perfect

Sonic is such a cocky little shit in that intro and i love it! Lol

"Come on this is nothing, let's keep moving!!!" Both Knuckles and Tails are scared but Sonic keeps them on the game, that's a true leader!!

That intro sequence is hype as fuck

Loved the design in this level, sure some parts repeat itself a little but the level is so lively, always busy, something's always happening, one of my favourite sonic levels!

Forget the Adventure games! THIS was the best 3d Sonic game! Multiple playable characters, combat that isn't just "homing attack to win", great level design, fantastic music, a level structure similar to the Mega Drive games, and no overdramatic story that no one cares about to drag things down! Just pure Sonic, from start to finish! I hope this gets re-released on Steam one day!

Sa2 hasn't aged well. It used to be my favorite sonic game until I played it again recently. it was full of bugs and glitches, the gameplay was god awful (especially the shooting and hunting levels), and the voice acting was just atrocious. Sonic heroes has its share of flaws but its game play is by far more polished, and more fun, and the voice acting (while still not perfect) has made a major improvement since its predecessor. Even though Sa2 isn't perfect it will always have a place in my heart though.

I love this game and SA 1 and 2 almost equally, can't say the same about other games tho Gameplaywise: SA1 for speed and variety SA2 for challenge SH for everything Story, character interactions and world design are important to me though. Adventure games NAIL them and Heroes does a pretty good job with story and is flawless with character interactions, specially with in-game dialogues

Oh my god the level design in this game is fucking bad, it loves to stop you at every moment and crawl to a halt to take down the same enemies over and over again while mash a to move onto the next segment to do it all over it again. This stage just happens to be the least poorly designed. It's no shadow or 06, but this game is pretty fucking bad.

Its power is unmatched through the universe, but when you see the camera shift to sonic and his crew, you know the fleet has an opponent.

Sonic levels had no right going in this hard.

I want a sequel for Sonic Heroes and I want this level to come back!

I really wish they would remake this game with some insane graphics

Whoever came up with this stage, design, layout and everything needs to be praised. Take a moment and realize that we're running through and destroying Eggman's fleet of battle airships 1 after another with 3D and 2D side scrolling segments and badass as fuck music

if Sonic attacks easily break rocks and steel, there's no Sonic Proof Armada because Steel is one of the most resistant materials, and the ramps, rails, springs are just there to make a nice gameplay, Eggman doesn't really put them there!

I played this level just yesterday and damn you really feel like you’re taking down the fleet on your own, and it just feels so empowering. I remember seeing a video on sonic music, how it usually deviates from the norm in terms of final boss/level music. Instead of coming off as big and intimidating, it’s made to make you feel like badass

I could never beat Bullet Station as a kid. After revisiting the game recently (very glad I did, loved every moment) I didn't find it too bad.

Came back to this video after seeing the Sonic Movie 2 because that final standoff on the rocks gave me serious Egg Fleet vibes

I like how you can just look out at the level background and see the Earth's horizon and cloud cover below you, really gives a sense of scope of how High you are. The fact that this level takes place in the uppermost levels of the atmosphere, while the only footing being giant flying enemy battleships that surrounds you, and you're just hopping from one to the next in high speed... Makes Egg Fleet one of the most memorable levels in any Sonic game - in any game, ever. I wish more levels in videogames were like this one, the absolute feeling of freedom of just jumping around at high speeds up there, even though it's such a linear level.

One of the greatest sonic levels ever.

I always get the Feeling That Giant Manta Ray Ship is Eggmans Final Fortress. Idk.

This was my first game ever and i had a lot of troubles with some stages on team sonic story like lost jungle or bullet station, so when i reached this stage wirh every other team i was so excited to reach for it on the team sonic stage

I used to be really intimidated by final stretches of a game, like the difficulty would absolutely decimate me And I had my fair share of deaths in this level, but man that intro made me think I could win if I just believed I could

The first time I played this level I get stuck for an hour but it was so cool listening the music

This has to be the most epicest sonic games out there. But this was also where sonic's friends became more useless, look at tails' fucking super form, what the fuck is that

The intro of this was genius at the time. Esp after the mansion, getting to this got me hyped as hell.

This was my personal favorite level in the game along with Rail Canyon and Final Fortress.

I liked Bullet Station more than Rail Canyon, because SCREW THE RAIL PHYSICS IN THIS GAME. Plus, Bullet Station was just plain Awesome! I'm still only at Frog Forest in my first playthrough though, and I don't play it that often due to it being at a friend's house.

I get chills every time. Lmao.

I loved every single thing about this stage.

This awesome stage being remake with the "Unleashed" treatment, could have been INSANE!!! In fact, the intro armada that appears in this stage, reminds me, and resembles a bit the opening from Unleashed.
