Crazy how this era of Sonic Team was on some crazy next-level graphics high. Just made one of the best looking 360 games with Unleashed, then the absolute best looking Wii game with Colors, and then another great looking 360 game with Generations right after. Wonder why they kind of dropped the ball in recent years with visuals.

Planet Wisp Act Time Stamps Act 1: 0:04 Act 2: 3:08 Act 3: 4:59 Act 4: 7:02 Act 5: 9:18 Act 6: 11:24 Boss: 15:03 This should help if you need to choose a specific act to complete.

I just realized how absolutely massive this would be for a mario level, but for sonic it's like... 2 minutes.

Sonic is seriously on a roll with that pink whisp as a great finish 2:31

Act 6 is probably my favorite level in the whole game, the song, level design and everything I feel represents the game well.

Planet Wisp, it's so beautiful that I almost cried the first time I went into it on Sonic Colors, quite some years ago. I hope that someday, a new Sonic stage can make me feel like that again.

Anyone else remember when they saw that normal water near the beginning of act 1, then seeing those big purple lakes

I’m trying to get all the S Ranks and Red Rings in this game all by myself before Sonic Colors Ultimate comes out. Thankfully, I’ve beaten the Main Story, so getting all Red Rings won’t be too hard seeing that curtain Wisps are required for some Red Rings. I’m really gonna have fun doing this.

act 4 is my personal favourite, such an adventure.

That was much easier than Starlight Carnival. The red star rings there were so hard. I have never got this many red star rings in any Sonic game. Now I am on to Aquarium park.

I have a quick question do the S ranks mean anything if u get them all or are they just a fancy rank?

The cutscenes are available the first time you play through the game if you plan on playing them again.

@@EduBR02 u can get s rank while taking damage. It’s all about score but it does of course get harder the more rings you lose

coming back to see this as Ultimate is being dropped, and up till now, this looks 100X BETTER than ultimate

why don't you just savestate? shift+fn+f1 to save, then fn+f1 to load. (if fn lock is disabled)

At the time I used a GTX 1080Ti GPU with an i7-8700K CPU. And the emulator settings were pretty much default besides the native resolution of course.

Act1 perfectly illustrates my annoyances with Colors. They start you running in a nice environment, 3D, just for it to basically be straight lines, with little input required of the player. You realize this in real time, and wish they gave you fun level design to play… All for the 3D to end within 30 seconds, and they slap you in a blocky Mario section. If this were Unleashed, you’d get a solid minute of 3D thrills, and platform to get the highest route. Not this railroad design.

You can hook up your PS4 controller to your PC. It pretty much works that way for Steam games, etc. But here, the button icons are just an icing on the cake since I’m using a Dolphin emulator.

If you’re not using an Xbox controller, you’re going to have to use a plugin called XInput for connecting any other controller to your PC.

If it’s an actual Wii, you can only connect a GC controller, Classic Pro controller, or a Wii remote and Nunchuk. What you’re seeing in this video is the Dolphin emulator on PC.

I so wish they didn't make this a Wii exclusive back this since the remake is on Multiple platforms and 2 years before Unleashed was on Multiple platforms too. Seriously these Sonic games in the late 2000s and early 2010s and their biased console releases.

No, this is actually the Wii version. Not Ultimate.

You can’t. Once you get a new Wisp capsule it replaces the one you already have, if you have any.
