I definitely agree with many of the points you made in this vid. While I also have some issues with Frontiers such as the Cyberspace controls, stiff animation for certain cutscenes and the finale feeling underwhelming overall, it was a great experience. Frontiers has me optimistic for Sonic's future since I believe they struck gold with the open-zone formula. My biggest hope for 3D Sonic's future was to find a balance between Adventure and Boost which is exactly what Frontiers does well. I'm just happy that not only does Frontiers respect the franchise's history but it's also a solid game. Now with Sonic Team expanding and tons of good constructive feedback being given, I'd say we are in for a treat this year for the DLC and future titles down the road. Frontiers is for sure a great Sonic game and my second playthrough is making me appreciate all the hard work they put into the game from the story to the gameplay.

Imagine if it was long like unleashed but with forces gameplay

I think this is what a true sonic game should be. Being Open world/Open zone with platforming challenges,Puzzles and many ways to traverse the area while still having the traditional boost to win levels scattered throughout the world.

The story, music, combat, were all amazing

Forgot to comment but great video man! I think Frontiers is a step in the right direction. This game just needed a bit more polish and honestly probably would've benefited from another year of dev time.

Ayo I’m was with you during the whole entire thing the cyberspace levels are really that bad tho I mean it’s really fun to go through like the soundtrack was bursting it’s level bro yeah even if this game didn’t win that shitty ass awards it’s still the most awesomeness sonic game I’ve never played I knew sega and sonic team wouldn’t fail on me with this pure overpowered levelness Except for the final boss hard mode it was wack because it feels I’m playing a 10 bit game version of tectress but that doesn’t mean the game sucks I heard that somebody said on update to recreate the final boss I’m curious to see what it is but yo 2022 made sonic feel so much better now it’s 2023 now the updates bro I’m super excited but yeah this game op as hell thank you sega and sonic team

This is like the first time I've 100% agreed with what you had to say about Sonic, lmfao. Good vid nonetheless. Usually I'd add some points of my own but I think you hit it all pretty good. Very well said my man.

We finally have a very solid modern 3D Sonic game. It still have ways to go to be a truly amazing Sonic game that it could be for me. But this game for once makes me more pleased then I have for a Sonic game in a LONG time. The biggest critiques I have is the cyberspace levels most of them. But the highlights, dear god Sonic controls well in 3D?! The story/dialog is actually worth praising? The combat is genuinely decent fun with creative simple ways to defeat enemies??? And it doesn’t treat you like a baby playing your first video game…. But same can’t be said for the cyberspace stages when it comes to control as they felt more clunky. But it’s pros is a start. Another weakness is the lack of strong environment variety. But the boss battles are some of the best the series ever seen. And I enjoyed Big’s fishing mini game. Lol And the multiple ways of clearing the game. It’s the meatiest Sonic game in forever which I appreciate. Good foundation for an easy better followup. I actually had fun. And wasn’t bored. That’s all you could ask for a game. And we’re actually receiving juicy DLC lineup. Signs of care confidence ladies and gentlemen.

But all of the 06 hub worlds, combining the unleashed hub worlds (the different ones where you talk to people and the other one where it's a stage select basically), modified to be open zones would go extremely hard
