I like how he talks about sneaking in melody into the metal becuase he couldnt with nathan so he gets his melody with swisgar vocals in the first Galaktikon album. In the become the storm he wanted to sneak more metal and nathan in as an F U to adult swim and to give his fans what they wanted. What a fickle and genius man.

  • @munstrumridcully

***** its a joke, in the show Metalocalypse, the incredible Dethklok lead guitarist, Skwisgaar Skwigelf, can't read music because he has it. Also, Skwisgaar tends to pluralize words that should be singular. Brendan voices most of the cartoon band, including Skwisgaar, so I jokingly asked if he also suffers from musics dislexia☺

Jet Pack it's really weird but I super love hearing demos and raw versions of songs, especially from Brendon. It reminds me of being a kid and finding bands on Myspace, particularly the Metalocalypse songs straight from the show which sometimes were slightly extended or ones we'd never get like the banana sticker song. The show was such a big part of my life growing up, and while I'm happy that Brendon is successful with Galaktikon, it doesn't quell the anger I harbor towards Mike Lazzo and Adult Swim lol. I appreciate then for being the medium to bring me this, but Lazzo is a fucking baby and he basically slapped us all in the face and mocked us when all we wanted was an ending to our show.

Sounds A minor in the first part but plug in an f to that it makes a minor 6th (f major) to flat 7th (g major) to root (a major) kinda progression. Really cool sounding!

it sounds like it could be on galaktikon.. but maybe gene meant the drums are going to sound like a dethklok record.. cause the whole point of brendon's galaktikon was to have music that wasnt heavy enough to be a dethklok song, cause he likes melody, not just death metal.
