Thank you for your intelligent, sensitive reaction!❤ Ren was in a band called The Big Push that busked in Brighton,UK from 2017-2022 . They covet a lot of Reggae. Marley, Sting, Stones, plus original music. Ren has been in Canada for more than a year now, beinf treated for the damage done by long tetm Lyme disease. He had several associated autoimmune issues and brain damage that he is dealing with. Would love to watch you react to more Ren. Goid luck with your career! ❤

She did great! Some are like a deer in headlights as they struggle to take in the different layers of contrasts and meaning and I really can't fault them for being enthralled, but she took it all in and shared some unique insights as she seemed to take it all in stride. Great reaction again sir

For what it’s worth, a lot of REN’s music is one take but this one was actually not. They were all recorded live but there were several takes that he and his team worked with. Not sure time stamps but you can actually see a few times in the continuity of the video itself that it was stitched together. 🤙

Yami's insights were on the most part excellent, but she missed the mark at one point, it was not a reference to Mr Mistoffelees the character originally in T.S. Elliots book that the musical Cats was based on, but it was a reference to a devil like demon in German mythology called Mephistopheles, as he was going through vaious nom de plumes for the devil ie, son of the morning, Lucifer, antichrist, farther of lies, the banished avenger etc. Possibly a bit more poignant than a magical singing cat lol.

Yeah but she's being misled by Ren skipping a crucial syllable and thinking people won't notice, (which is one of his quirks).

@antiqueinsider too true, he does like to flirt with the odd historical change to make the words fit the flow sometimes, it's one of the clever flings that makes Ren special.

One thing I want to advise you: don't tell your guests what's gonna happen in the video. Like you literally killed the surprise about the Eminem reference. It's better not to telk her anything and just ask her to stop whenever she feels like stopping or rewinding

1:42 Actually the video we watch is stitched together. When the camera angle changes, we sometimes see snippets of one of the 4 takes he did. Someone said that Ren said that he was happy his internal metronome was switched on that day. I don’t think that takes away from the mastery of this piece all. Just saying, since people get offended easily these days.

You can see that because the lapel mic changes position sometimes, sometimes higher up and I'm not talking about the mic being turned inside his gown but actually changing position. But stitched together or not it's mind blowing.

My cat's breath smells like cat food... Sheesh!

Not sure how far out you have these recorded, but the audio is still a bit weird. It sounds like some frequencies are muffled (attenuated). Just FYI
