I am one of the ones who requested this song and Fingers -live. I left this comment after your reaction to this song. I will leave it here as well. "I don't feel safe in my bed voices in my head talking to the dead. Fear and Sin follow me over the valleys and hills below; back home. It suffocates me...Wish I could get out of this tomb (Joe's own mind)" Ren wrote this from Joe's perspective in my opinion... You get to the end of the song and as Ren does so often he then breaks the 4th wall and says, "When HE gave up the fight, the decision he made stayed with me for the rest of my life. I miss you so." I have been telling everyone as well, chalk outlines has nothing on this... They stare into each others soul the entire song; that as well is not easy. Ren looks up to god when he screams out, "Where is my god where are you" 7:10. Also, I'm would assume singing this song; he too is thinking about Joe... Edit: 8:37 I had to edit here after hearing Jackie talk. What is even more impressive is; Chinchilla has a video with the "Fairy voice mother" channel on youtube where. The singer coach is talking about all the things Chinchilla can do with her vocals. Turns out Chinchilla can control and do anything she wants with her voice but has ZERO clue on what is actually happening with her vocals. Just knows the sounds she wants; and nails them...

I love Chalk Outlines but for me this is probably my favourite Ren song and I think they complement eachother much better in it too. I’ll never forget hearing it for the first time because it’s the only song I’ve ever heard that’s made me feel simultaneously spellbound and in love with it but also gutted at realising that I’d never again be able to experience it for the first time.

Great reaction, I would love to see you both react to Ren and Chinchilla busking a cover of Sexual Healing by Marvin Gaye and as it is a streat performance not only is it live but there are no do overs it's a one and done thing and it is incredible.

In fact there arw 2 morw collaborations they did fir his bewest album coming out called Slaughterhouse. Yhe new album is suppised to be more experimental. I am so excited to hear it

I'm SHOCKED that you said showing her Chalk Outlines was a mistake. SHOCKED. This is absolutely one of my favorite Ren videos, but if I could , personally, only choose ONE to show some one (Of his duets with Chinchilla), it would be Chalk Outlines. Which it's fine to not agree, but to call that one a MISTAKE? That just turned me off completely. I'm sorry. I love Jackie. She should continue to be a regular. Please show her Suicide. She had no experience with busking or the kind of live stuff Ren does. Actually Ren and Chinchilla co-wrote this and Chalk Outlines, which is why those are the only two songs by Ren I am aware of that get legit copyright claims with Chinchilla on UMG. And maybe inform Jackie aboiut the story of Joe since the last line was obviously about him. In fact, the beauty of this song is that most of the lyrics could fit either Ren's or Joe's perspectives.

I’m apparently the only one who really doesn’t like listening to this song. It sounds awful to me, but I don’t have official music words to describe why. It’s just really not nice to listen to, to me.
