A very obscure mistake in your translation: つわもの (tsuwamono), which you translated to "strong one" in the song's chorus is an obscure way to say "soldier". It's not really a part of the modern Japanese vocabulary and if you ever use that word over 兵士 (soldier) or 軍人 (military personnel), you're probably a historian. I wouldn't even expect actual Japanese speakers to get that right
@nob4076
9 ай бұрын
doesn't "mono" by itself mean object too? Strange how you would literally translate this as "strong object"
@kamikazeviking3053
8 ай бұрын
@@nob4076 It also translates to Mono as in "者" which does mean person. "者" and "人" are interchangeable most of the time but "人" is more common in modern Japanese.

Another banger
A very obscure mistake in your translation: つわもの (tsuwamono), which you translated to "strong one" in the song's chorus is an obscure way to say "soldier". It's not really a part of the modern Japanese vocabulary and if you ever use that word over 兵士 (soldier) or 軍人 (military personnel), you're probably a historian. I wouldn't even expect actual Japanese speakers to get that right
@nob4076
9 ай бұрын
doesn't "mono" by itself mean object too? Strange how you would literally translate this as "strong object"
@kamikazeviking3053
8 ай бұрын
@@nob4076 It also translates to Mono as in "者" which does mean person. "者" and "人" are interchangeable most of the time but "人" is more common in modern Japanese.
