My brother and I loved that song. My brother died in 2009. Now I pass it down to my kids..and they love it. Keeping it as family tradition and memories of the ones we loved. Love is all that counts.

I just found out that a close friend of mine died yesterday. My good friend, Bubba, was from Hawaii. His native language was the Hawaian dialect. English was his second language, and I could tell how shy he was to talk with me when we first met when our sons were on the same football team. Bubba was a big man, a very big man. And he had an even bigger heart. He had very few friends, but he welcomed me into his life as a brother when he understood I was non-judgmental towards him. He was in constant mourning, but I was probably the only friend of his who knew this about him. Bubba kept his pain hiden like most men, and suffered alone in silence. He had 8 children; 7 of whom I got to know. His heart was forever broken, when one of them, his daughter, had passed away at the age of two. He moved his family from Hawaii to Seattle about a decade ago in search of a better life for his wife and kids. They all lived together in a small apartment across from the supermarket at which he worked, stacking shelves to help support his family that he loved so dearly. He worked nights, and I would often go there just to say hi, or whenever I felt down. He always greeted me with a huge smile and an even bigger hug with which he could have easily crushed me. I love you, Bubba. Your memory will always live in my heart for as long as I walk this earth. ♥️ 😢 😭 Thank you, brother, for enriching my life. T.D.

What a beautiful man and voice, it brings tears to my eyes seeing all the comments about what’s happened to people’s loved ones, I feel god wants me to tell you there all ok and watching over you. I lost a child in 2017 they would of been my first I constantly think what if but it wasn’t meant to be I’ve made peace with what happened and this year god blessed me with a baby boy I just want to say to you all who commented god loves you, bless you all 🙏❤️❤️❤️

I played this for my noble, beautiful, my cat, my best friend , Murphy Miller before his euthanasia Then we took him to the vet to let him go. I played IZ for him while he was leaving us. I know he’s gone from here, earth,. Murphy never cared much for human music. But he was so calmed and listened to this song with such curiously., Thank you, IZ and your family. I hope you and Murphy hook up . I miss Murphy more than words can express. Thank you IZ . Thank you.

So sorry for your loss!😢. I have put a few pets down. 2 dogs lived to be 16. I currently have a white dog and a black cat. My cat likes music, too. I love(d) them all.

This is the most heavenly voice I have ever heard! Could listen to it from here to eternity! So very relaxing, sad the young fella is no longer with us, he’s singing to the angels now, along with my late beautiful life partner of sixty five years 😇

@@musicsavesmylife Thank you for your very kind words, my husband was a fighter, he had Parkinson’s from the age of 50. to 76. and died of cancer, I have poor health myself now, but I thank god every day for the time I’m given in this Wonderful World! and i have the love of an amazing family, I shall play IZ’s ‘Over the Rainbow’ and his other songs quite often I’m sure, he will bring me peace and remind me of how fortunate I am, take care, and blessings from the U.K. 🙏

This is my mom's favorite. We found out her time is very short, and she asked to have this played at her funeral. We are Catholic, so the number of songs played that are not part of the mass is limited. This is 1 of three, and as her choice will be played first. Thank you for looping it and posting. We will be able to play it for her and not have to mess with hitting replay so we can do other things, or not wake her. Mahalo

That's my sons bday too. He is my special Rainbow boy. He would tell me when he was small that his favorite color was Rainbow & say it just like IZdoes in this song. So stinking sweet. Funny, I never heard this song until a few years ago when I bought a Ukelele. I searched for Over the Rainbow and found IZ’s version. It’s the only song I want to play now. Better get to it again! I’m 74.

11September 2002 was 20 years ago to the day that I sat on the rocks in Kapalua Bay...offering prayers to those lost that tragic day in 2001. I couldn't have been in a more beautiful place on Earth to contemplate the events of that September 11th. day and what entailed. Now , today, as the anniversary approaches this year, listening to IZ takes me back to my last Aloha on Maui and cements the memory of my visit to Paradise and strengthens the bond with all of those lost souls. In true Hawaiian spirit, I feel as though time has stood still and I'm looking beyond that rainbow and praying for the families that were left behind to carry on without their dearly beloved. Thank you for your heavenly voice and music...really miss you too, IZ....Aloha Brudda 🌈

My nephew lived with his brother over in Hawaii for a while...IZ was one of his favorite singers...my nephew passed suddenly in 2011 and I will always think of him when I hear this song...I'm sure my nephew is up their singing with IZ

We listen to Iz from Italy. My teenage child became a fan of Iz first, and I think the Latin people and Iz have something in common. Iz's lovely figure and never-pushing vocal style soothe us. It was very different from the funerals I knew, and I could feel the feelings of the people who loved Iz.

Quando eu quero traduzir o que vai em meu coração e o termo lindo ( a ), ainda é pouco, eu busco outro jeito de falar e digo " lindamente linda "(o ). Por isso, eu peço à produção, por favor, não deixem de colocar sempre, esses mix . Em meio a tanto barulho desenfreado, violência, guerras, e outras coisas mais, essa voz, essas letras e as belas imagens, aquietam corações, devolvem esperança aos desesperançados ( o que não é o meu caso ). Mas, sinto-me, imensamente feliz ao ouvi-los.

Eu estava vivendo um momento de grande e amarga perca, percebi que meu mundo havia desabafo em minha cabeça,eu me perdi, mais me perdi de verdade a ponto de sair na rua, hora que eu saía e voltando pra casa não consegui por várias vezes encontra_la , estive no final do túnel a ponto de falar com Deus, Senhor,devolva o meu eu me faz ser como eu era antes porque se eu continuar assim não vou aguentar,em 2021 meu amor fez a viagem pra não voltar nunca mais, sei que não vou esquece_lo , bom... foi em um daqueles dias que me deparei com essa maravilha de música,doeu muito muito, chorei como se fosse um bebê fora de sua mãe, órfão, resumindo por aqui, não consigo ficar sem ouvir mais, dificilmente passo uma semana sem ouvir duas vezes ou mais, hoje ouvindo posso me sentir bem pertinho de meu amado, sinto melhor menos tensa e não choro mais em ouvir,pois ela me traz um certo conforto e alívio.lembrando que antes de tudo foi com a ajuda de Deus que estou mantendo a vida de pé sem meu amor 😢 é ele foi morar em meio as estrelas !
