It because this style of singing is a thing of the past is why. If she sung more modern songs as well, her fan base would explode into the millions of fans. As the former owner of a major record label, I see this to be the cause despite her amazing voice.

I hope by chance Stella finds this comment. There is a video on KZread Michael Feinstein and Judy Garland "Over the Rainbow" duet. I think she would love it. I am not for one moment suggesting her take is inferior. Not at all as Michael says in another video the great thing about the standards is everyone can put their own special touch on them. And I adore Stella's cover. I just would like to see her enjoy the other as well that I discovered by accident.
