I'm in Pa. right on Lake Erie straight across the lake is Toronto. We are a small city in the middle approx.2 hours from Pittsburgh, Cleveland, and Buffalo.Kinda of a sweet spot.And we know snow and wind.Sorry for your predictable but tom. suppose to be close to 70!!! Oh Wow! I only just stumbled on your videos an hour ago I just want to say what an inspiration you are. Don't know how old you are but myself am 65, play guitar and sing and the older I get the less people there seems to be performing even at my age. Sometimes I feel I should just give up because I think no-one wants to see an old lady perform. Well you have just given me the inspiration to keep on doing what I'm doing and I hope you continue to do what you are doing for as long as you can 😀

I'm 34, and truly inspired! I definitely know that at 20 she still would have been an inspiration to me. I've been _stuck_ for a while now, Melinda has just made me realize that maybe I had it wrong all these years. I have gotten to know myself well through such a long process of healing and self-discovery. Maybe I wasn't stuck at all but moving at a slow and easy pace. I expected change to hit me at the speed of light and that people either hop on the fast train or get left behind. I'm right where _I_ should be, even at my age. Small steps gave me patience and perspective and I've soaked it all in as something wonderful and content. The rest of my future is looking beautiful. This video helped me contemplate that. 🙂 Love to all!

I'm so grateful I found your channel. I'm 74 years old or young. And sometimes I feel I'm all alone in the world. Growing old is scary. You can expect anything. I'm from Amsterdam, the Netherlands. But right now I'm staying in a hotel in Portugal. I met a man here who's a 100 years old. Very clear headed. He was working on his IPad. It was inspiring. I know I should take it one day at the time. I'm healthy. No use worrying about the future. My grandmother died when she was 73. She was an old, bitter, sadistic woman. I don't feel old at all. I'm kindhearted. As long as I stay curious about everything in life I'm doing ok. Music has always been the most important thing in my life. Music is a miracle. And I'm learning Portugese!

If anyone’s heard of a neuro professor named Andrew Huberman, he has a video out about raising dopamine levels that might help some having depression. Just the practice of focusing on your breathing every day for a while (something most people have a hard time doing without becoming distracted) will help. Guiding your attention back to your breathing is key to bringing the dopamine up because it’s a challenge…🤷🏼‍♀️

Your advice on breaking a pattern and finding a distraction to deal with depression is so down to earth and doable. 💕 It's too bad you have to tell people to respect your space and privacy. People should know that.
