Maybe it is because you can see them on the web now, while in former times you would never meet most of them and therefore they could not persuade you that they can play pretty well.

This is one of them “I bought the whole guitar, I’m playing the whole guitar” videos… and nailed it too. I’m very glad he played the whole thing for us all to enjoy! Much love and keep on jammin!

Crazy that he puts it all together while having casual conversation at the same time. If I lose focus for .2 seconds everything goes to hell.

This guy literally having a conversation while simulating 3 instruments at once. I can barely play just a lead guitar part. For any non-musicians out there, this isn't exactly easy. Not the most impossible thing in the world, but definitely not easy.

My dad’s a musician and song writer. When I was seventeen my folks asked me what I wanted to do with myself and I said “music obviously”. They warmed me that music was quite hard and you had to have a certain personality type to get it done. So you might want to find yourself a back up they said. I’m now 32 with two degrees behind me and close to £100,000 student debt and I work as a therapist on the stroke wards - and I love it! But this feels like what might have happened if I said “na I don’t care if it’s hard, let’s have it!” Never too late though.

He has the ability to listen to something, play it in his head and replay the notes as he remembers the sound of the strings. He remembers what string makes what sound. He’s not playing the guitar, he’s pouring out emotions on it after reading it like a book he memorized. It’s amazing

Holy freakin smokes. That was amazing. This guy's a guitortionist. He's all over that instrument. Like a hunter that doesn't waste any part of the animal. The most memorable, true artists, are in back pages. In a way, that's it's own treat

I've been playing for 50yrs. Holy S. I'm was looking to find a replacement for my 99 K20c, that my wife must have hated, because the 99 didn't deserve to be STOMPED ON by her. I saw this, HOLY S. Very nice indeed. Still loved the k20c, but that eased up the pain a bit. Peace everybody.

This guys brilliant! As a guitar player with small hands what I wouldn’t give to have 4 middle fingers on each hand!

He forgot to mention you have to graduate from Hogwarts to pick notes with your third eye.

So true. You can work out the timing of something like this, with LOTS of practice. If I try to talk while I'm playing, forget it. His being able to narrate while playing just shows how his fingers are on auto pilot. My brain just doesn't have enough RAM.

@@gr8guitarplayer he does a lot of live loops too which I cant even fathom cause I can barely get a decent loop going with intense focus. To IN THE MIDDLE OF A COMPLEX ASS SONG LIKE THIS, know exactly the timing of what to do with the looper how it works out musically and execute it without missing a note like this is just insane.

Once you master a song, it becomes subconscious, you don't think about it. Likewise layering it together. The sad part is it then becomes automatic. You see a guitarist doing something great and they aren't even there. You move onto the next one, repeat. Try something completely different to have a bit of fun. One does have to put in the hundreds or thousands of hours to get there. You do well to study a curriculum to learn the instrument well, otherwise you stay pretty much the same.

So much talent - mesmerizing to listen to. Thank you for sharing.
