The new bird absolutely melts my heart 🥺❤ He is like a combination of so many of the other birds. He has the playfulness and mischief of Ripley, the friendly & funny charm of Maeve and he has the same gentle soul that made us fall in love with Toupac ❤

I wouldn’t call myself a bird lover by any means but I am definitely an animal lover! I have never really thought much of birds until I found this channel years ago and from there it has completely changed my love for birds. But it wasn’t just birds, it was Toupac! I absolutely fell in love with that sweet little boy. I loved watching the relationship and pure love between Brock and him.❤ it was so weird for me to try and process the amount of emotions and pure broken-hearted pain I felt for someone I had only ever known through videos, when Toupac passed but then came to realize that even though a screen we still build relationships and bonds. And as a HUGE animal lover I think it’s even easier to get attached. Thank you for all you do Brock and nothing will ever ever replace sweet Toupac but this little guy can help to maybe make that hole in our hearts from losing him a little smaller!! ❤

I really miss Toupac also. 💕 He was a very very special bird! Since the new toucan is so enamored with microwaves, perhaps “Ray”, short for Raytheon-the first microwave brand! 😂 HAHA!

I really miss Toupac too! No one could ever take his place but I've got to say the new bird is a sweetheart and his gentle nature reminds me of him in a lot of ways. I'm glad they surrendered him to you! I'm sure he already has a special place in your heart and you will give him the best in life 💜

"I hadn't planned on getting another bird, but..." Yeah that's how these things always seem to pan out, don't they? In 30+ years of pet ownership, we actually went out and bought a grand total of three guinea pigs. We also had dogs, cats, birds, mice, fish... didn't plan to get any of those though :D

Toupac was such an easy bird to love. If he's convinced people to love birds then I think he's done exactly what he needed to do. Thank you so much for sharing!

He has my favourite colours on a toucan. His bill is so beautiful. He’s a real character. Perhaps he needs a name that reflects that. Thanks for introducing him to us. 😊

I lost my beloved green-wing macaw named "Buffett" three years ago and have never fully recovered. Their beauty and presence are a blessing!

He's a beauty. The big bill and red part on the end suggests it's an aggressive predator. His behavior is mental where he's unsettled about boredom, loneliness, and dysfuntionalism of living in human environments. I don't guess any bird is a house bird for they're all outside birds. lol

He's adorable! I'm glad he's sweet and well behaved. Hopefully he makes friends with the other birds.

It's refreshing to hear of people recognising before it's too late that they're entering a position where they can no longer give their companion the life they need, and take action to provide their pet a better life elsewhere. He looks healthy and energetic!

I sometimes think of Toupac out of the blue. He was a good soul.

Probably the reason they stick there head behind the microwave is because it looks like a nesting cavity. Toucans nest in trees with very thin opening.

Toupac was the sweetest little toco I have ever seen. He always made me smile. Brock the name I am hoping for is Django.

So happy you two found each other, shame it did not work out with the previous owner but thank goodness they knew to reach out. When one door closes, another opens. Hoping all goes well with the intros and they love him as much as we are-or at least tolerate

He's a beautiful looking toucan. His previous owners did look after him and now he has someone who will care for him and give him many more experiences and fulfilment. What a joy to have a tame bird for your wonderful menagerie. Love and hugs 🤗💖😘

I think he believes there is another toucan inside the microwave and is trying to figure out how to get inside. I remember seeing a lot of wild animals do this when they encounter a mirror in their natural habitat... They always look behind the mirror to see if there is an actual animal - of course they don't understand they see their reflection (most animals anyways... Some seem to be able to figure it out)

He's so cute, especially when he makes those clicking noises, Toucans have always been one of my favourite species of birds. As a Dinosaur nerd myself, I've always thought of naming a Toucan after a Pterodactyl (either Pterry or Petrie from Land Before Time) due to their Zygodactyl feets and beaks (especially on chicks), just an idea I thought I'd give out, thanks you, you are amazing🐦🦜 (Edit-Typo)
