Hiiiii....I actually came across ur channel few months ago....and let me tell you I am soo happy that you guys somewhere by making these videos, by being together are helping indian lgbtq members more comfortable. Same situation. But at the point when I thought that I was lesbian, I didn't have anyone to talk to openly about because I never had a genuine friend until I was 15. Even then, I feared that she might not understand where I'm coming from because my class was just so immature in many ways that just pissed the hell out of me. But when I got to know her slowly, I opened up to her and then I told my mum about it. My mum has always been the source of comfort in my life and I tell her almost everything because she loves me no matter what. I'm so sorry that you had no one in your family who would understand. I really hope from the bottom of my heart that your family would understand one day. Also, I realised that I'm a bisexual.

Now I'm slowly accepting myself. Queer literature and series also helped. Recently I decided to share this with one of my best friends from childhood. I thought she'd be surprised or might find it strange. But she was so okay with it! It really surprised me because we never talk about the so called 'taboo' topics. I guess she was religious and very spiritual and understood the reality of life. I had to educate her a bit about bisexuality though, she was like- either you can be gay or straight 😅 The next moment she started suggesting me some friends of her 😂 I could have never imagined that I have a friend who would not treat me any different after knowing my preferences. I don't know why I'm sharing all this here, but I guess I felt happy finding similar people here. Hoping that one day I'd be able to tell all of my friends and family. Thanks for hearing me out.

@@sangitahermione back at school, I was called a prostitute and so on because I was more comfortable with guys and at the same time I was shy and awkward around girls. The moment I hit puberty, I just naturally felt awkward around them and didn't know what was happening with me so I thought might be a lesbian. Suddenly, I started to feel attraction towards guys but since I was bullied at that time, I just suppressed how I felt because I know that they were not the kind of ppl I would want to think of forget about falling in love. It was just a matter of pride that I didn't accept my feelings for guys. My feelings for girls were stronger and overwhelming me that I didn't want to be around them also. So, I ultimately avoided everyone back at school. Thanks for taking the time to read this

We maybe attracted to people of any gender at a point of time, but I guess because the society is very heteronormative, we are unable to accept and realise our feelings towards the same gender because we have never seen it portrayed in media or real life. That's why queer representation is so necessary.

They will understand until those experience is from there close ones or until there own children get it done. It's bitter but truth

This is just too sad. And I can feel the sadness, the feeling in your voice that how people can misunderstand someone's life so much and then judge them based on the opinion they make about them. Like wow man! Just read this out stupid people. People realize about their true sexuality at different ages at different points of time. Some may realize it at 13 but others may realize it at 21. Either way, it takes months or even years for people to accept who they really are and what their true sexuality is. And when you are finally able to accept yourself, the people around you won't. It would take another few months or even years for people around you ( basically your own frnds and family) to accept the fact that they are living with someone with a different sexuality. You never know what a person is going thru. What struggles they are facing in their personal lives or what they've gone thru to finally be able to come out openly about their true selves and even share their journey with us. That's why I always say "Never judge a book by it's cover". It's just so sad to hear people say such things even in today's world where we say that we're open minded and completely okay with these things! Bcoz clearly, we're still not. And no one has a right to judge other people. And even if you do, just keep it to you! We don't wanna know what your stupid lil immature mind thinks about someone. Thankyou.
