It has to be a Lever, Most EMD’s have levers.

You know whats weird? As a regular person who doesnt care about trains,you just hear a bunch of horn blasts but as a railfan, you can hear jingle bells and shave and a haircuts

7:40 *csx 8770 SD60M is retired* 14:23 *EX Norfolk Southern currently owned by FURX still under 5528* 3:15 *what a horn show!!! and a shave and a haircut!! that guy deserves a raise!!* 5:16 *lol shave and a haircut on a old timer horn* 12:57 *K5HL* 3:37. *NS 9422* has a beautiful train horn 16:55 *CSX number 1 the spirit of West Virginia *(has been repainted but as of today 2023 it was renumbered to csx 173)* 9:02 *SD60i csx 8738 was retired in 2017 sold to another rail company* 9:11 *2756 is still in YN2 paint today* 8:10 *7357 has sadly been retired and it was used as LTEX then the cab was cut off and it's eating away with the rest of it sisters retired over the year* 10:10 *csx 3194 it's now the spirit of law enforcement unit and it has a RS5T*

Idk what csx be putting in their coffee but it sure does have all the engineers hanging out the engine showing out for the camera putting on a solid horn show. They need to share that coffee with some other railroads lmao!

*Thats a SD50-3 not a SD40 that's one of 2 units that have the K5HL however 8660 has been retired it was built as an SD50 but it was upgraded over the years it was upgraded to an SD50-3 which was its final upgrade before it got retired*

When I lived in Defiance Ohio near the RR river bridge we would hang out on the docks all weekend. The girls with us would flash a train or 2 early in the day. Every one that came past the rest of the day came blaring and hanging out of the window hoping to catch a glimpse.

Man. I don’t get horn shows like that. I wish the engineers in my area were this nice.

My favorite part was the CSX

I Love CSX , Sucessor to the Cassie System , they seem to have free rain when it comes to thier horns , they may have certain rules , but when they are out of the yard , and passing rail fans ,they seem to get in the fun of things with thier horns ! CSX RULES !
