I’ve watched a lot of deadlift videos over the years trying to perfect this lift. This is hands down the best one I’ve come across. Simple to understand and covers everything you need to know. Wish I had this dude as a coach when I first started lifting

Loved the opening! But I’m concerned about the people that we are always telling “lifting weights is very safe, safer than almost any other athletic activity”! Sarcasm can be lost on them!

Been training for around 3 months - My lifts always drifted away from my legs especially as I got tired toward the last set - after adjusting my set up according to your suggestions got the best pulls - on my legs all the way up. Greatly Appreciated!

I shared this with my SS trainees. My newest trainee weighs 115, within 3 weeks she's deadlifting 155. Novice program. She's super stoked about SS and she's outlifting her husband! He switched from Strongman 5x5 to SS because of her progress.

Thank you! I'm just starting out deadlifting after a couple of months of rack pulls to strengthen my back. I appreciate the good and bad examples. Since I'm working out alone, should I use my phone to video myself, since I shouldn't be looking as high as a mirror? I'm not sure how else to check my proper form. I ask, because I don't want to look like an Instagram faker!

This video was fantastic and I appreciated the additional cues. My only suggestion is to do it using a heavier weight, to better demonstrate the slack pull, e.g. 5 plates, such as the final example.
