After sitting for 10 years, the truck was only running intermittently. @@nwirc I do have one HPI Nitro RS42 that needs an Engine! The Chassis is full Titanium! I bought it back in 2002! I had the Nitro MT also! But I had to sell it! Bills needed to be paid.
You’re starting issue may be caused from your one-way, bearing, failing or being too oily. You can take it out clean it. Use a little sandpaper or buy a new one.

I love the revo but hate that ex start I have the platinum had to pull start or starter box

That's the plan.. Just breaking it in after sitting for 10 years. She's running good so far.
Needs a new one way bearing that's what is slippong
