Solo Winter Fastpacking - Mount Oxford
Спорт
An overnight adventure fastpacking Mount Oxford in the Canterbury region, New Zealand.
The aim was to cover all of the Mount Oxford area and bag all of the DOC huts. Over 2 days I fastpacked more than 50km and 2400m in elevation gain.

Yikes, BK, I just saw this. Missed it first time around. You really get after it up high in the NZ winter in the mountains! Brave soul. Really enjoyed this one, as I do all of your posts. Cheers.

Thanks heaps mate. It's alot of fun for me and I try to keep it positive. Yeah I've mostly switched to boots for winter now. Cheers!
Thanks for showing us another one of your (chilly) adventures, Zeb. Enjoyed watching. That's really cool seeing an active log book going back nearly forty years!

I definitely need to do a video one day. I'm still tweaking the set up. No water proof socks haha. Cheers mate
Love your videos especially real trampiing rather than another channel camping in the rain storm whatever. Impressive effort. I am from waimakariri so know the area. However it would be great to show the entire route map at the end or beginning of your videos for those interested to go themselves. GPS file would be great too.Thank you for sharing!
Good to see you out and about again mate. Weather's been all ova the show. Il have to add this one to my training. Place looked like an ice box in the morning tho.
