Solo Winter Bushcraft Camp - 4 Days Off the Grid [Full Documentary]
Ойын-сауық
Please watch my new video! SOLO SURVIVAL ► • Overnight In The Wilde...
Away from civilization, I build up a bush camp and provide myself self-sufficient. The nights are very cold. The temperature goes down to -12 ° C. Maintaining your own body warmth has top priority. A real adventure and an interesting learning experience.

Love the sound of silence. To hear the snow crunching under feet, the birds singing a beautiful winter celebration song, The sounds and crackle of the fire. The sizzling sound of food over an open fire. Best food there is. And the sound of a water kettle creating warmth. Ours is coffee. But nothing like making time to enjoy the beauty of God's nature. Wonderful video. Very relaxing. And educational. Thank you!

Same sentiment from Louisiana. Been enjoying his vids since discovering him through the volcano. Prayers for those in La Palma and don't forget our Southern Louisiana victims of Hurricane Ida. God bless and cheers P[>
When you go far into the forest, when your phone is silent, it does not catch the signal, and the sleeping bag on the foam replaces your favorite bed! When your dinner is boiling in a black pot on a hot fire, and all your clothes are soaked through with smoke. You forget about all your problems, they simply do not exist, there is you and the silence of the forest! The silence from which is muffling. Your senses sharpen as you hear the wind, the rustle of grass, and leaves. The creaking of the trunks. At this moment, you feel that you are alive, you are alive now, you listen to your breath, your heart, Nothing can replace these feelings. You are cleansed of all that weighed on you yesterday. Just you and nature. And you're on your own. You're alive now, and that's all that matters. For this we go to the forest. To experience it, over and over again. Those who have experienced it will understand. Those who have not experienced it, still have everything ahead of them. Thank you for giving me this feeling. Thank you for making such content that attracts people to put on a backpack and go to wander along the forest path, your work makes people really happy. 👍 My channel on You Tube is just starting to take shape. If you don't mind, please put a few likes and a couple of short comments please.

Nice one. It reminds me of one of my adventures about 15 years ago lost in woods near Pak-China borders at -40C. The worst part was we had no special protective gears. Our combat trainings played a vital role for maintaining ourselves for two days.

I've gone winter camping by myself a few times as well as with others. But I don't think I learned as much by doing it myself as I learned by watching you. Thank you for taking the time to make this and all of your videos. The world really appreciates all you've done and what you're doing now on the island of La Palma. Be Safe & God Bless, BCB.
Oh my goodness, love this so much. I used to be a “back to nature” camping woman when I needed my hectic life to stand still for a while to let me replenish my spirit & soul. Never would I want to do it in such cold temperatures, I have a motor & sensory disease since birth, but I envy your tolerance to those sub zero temperatures amidst the beauty of snow & ice. Now I am older & cannot wslk much at all, so thank you for your video. Watching all of your La Palma volcano video’s has brought me to look at this video. Great stuff. Keep safe & keep well, and of course keep filming & sharing 👌👏🤗
the exact way my father taught me. no words, just pay attention. hot water bottle in the sleeping bag, sytematic drying and changing of clothes... keep it up bro, cheers

Hello Bushcraft Bear. I wanted to pick a video not getting so much attention to ask you a few questions about your Island. First let me say most of your viewers find you to be a well spoken man who trys to be clear and speak well when reporting on the Volcano. Secondly like you I am an outdoors man. I spend as much spare time as possible in the woods here in North Dakota US. 2-4-7 days at a time sometimes. Generally making my camp with timber/sticks and brush found near my choice for a site. I love it here and enjoy my trips out to the woods and bad lands. Would not want give that up. But I heard a girl Mallory asked you would you consider bugging out? Really got excited with your answer. Spoken like a true woodsman. I got a small bet with my wife you already have an ideal place to lock down and ride it out. If that happens and once it is safe again would you kindly video your bug out and video also the challeges, and your choice for shelter places and construction. You do well with your presentions and researched facts. And if you would, add your supplies and list of comforts and tools. The news over here are saying tsunamis are imminent as well now a big wind is coming. But I, your vids you say thats not a worry. I pray for your safety and success making it safely. You have a good set of principals and work ethic. Keep me in mind when it's over Bear. Would love hear that story, and tell it to my kids. Nothing has as much meaning then to be able to remain on the island and ride it out on you own terms. Bless you and be safe. But remember you must be able to out run that lava..😎 Until then, God bless.

Very relaxing to watch, without words.
So enjoyed watching this vid, a forest in wintertime. You really do this so well, no need to speak to explain, and you captured such beautiful scenery.
Finally after 28mins there is music. I find your video relaxing very much! keep it up the good work! thx for your video!
At first I wondered why the silence but it's actually very relaxing and interesting to see the work you do here, it's very skillful.
Time to revisit a great video, the essence of a well-considered, simple winter camp!
From Maine and NH...this makes me homesick ... my whole upbringing happened in places like this. My uncles, friends...we all spent at least 9 mos a year trekking in the White Mtns., Adirondacks, Vermont Green Mtns.
I'll be doing this but in temps ranging from 60F low and 90F high with high humidity mostly. I'll only do it for a couple days. Easy with the right foods packed from the start. It's good to be in nature every once in awhile. We spend our time in cocoons of relatively low sensory input, houses and offices, but the inputs are unnatural. Nature will wake me up and improve spirit. It is useful going for a walk or day hike, too.
Absolutely beautifully shot. Some of the scenes were just magical. You have a real knack for bringing depth to each scene with your amazing photography. I enjoyed watching this film very much.
Great, when I watch this video, I feel a very beautiful feeling, I want to thank you for your great work.
I like the way he has used his resources ......especially the wood. Even though it is very cold he hasn't built an enormous fire as you see in some videos & expended his own energy cutting loads of wood there by depleting the forests resources.Even dead or dying trees are a resource to the animals & insects of the forest & to the forest itself ...our ancestors knew how to use fire as a tool ....we need to learn this art.We have got used to wearing a t'shirt in the middle of winter around our homes & we seem to take that attitude into the wilderness.
How beautiful a world without words. Thank you!

Lordy! My grandaddy would have loved you - he was a tough mountain main from Cherokee, NC. He was in the Battle of the Bulge. After that he was a POW in Germany. But you know he loved Germany and he stayed in the country for several years after the war. I'm grateful he finally came home because he was a good man and he used to teach me all kinds of outdoors things like surviving in snow. The man wore shorts and walked around barefoot in snow - can I get a witness! So it was a lot to live up to. He also taught me some drinking songs in German... I wish he was still around but he would be very angry about what is going on in both our countries right now.
The handiwork & majesty of the Lord, so incredibly beautiful there, but how primitive, brutal & deadly if not prepared. You'd do fine if faced w/ living like this. Many of the rest of us would be up a creek. Thanks for the most informative journaling. What an experience!
