I thoroughly enjoyed this! That's my ideal solo trip: eating lots of good food, museum hopping, chillin around the city and a gorgeous hotel room. Thank you for sharing, I'm inspired!

I’m excited to take my first real solo trip! I live in Michigan and we alwaysssss travel to Chicago for vacation, family, and to have fun. I did a solo trip there and didn’t feel like it was a real solo trip. I’d love to take a solo trip to DC 💁🏽♀️ I’ve been there before but I’ve never gone by myself. God watches over all of us.

Thank you for subscribing! I love that phrase, "maximize your single life", what a beautiful way to put it. You should definitely do the same! Maybe start small and do solo dates in your area, then save up and do solo trip.

I’m so glad you enjoyed DC 😊 I love working in DC and going to delicious lunch spots w my coworkers. before i had kids, I’d just roam around after work and hit up a farmers market or something

It’s a shame I grew up in Baltimore and never visited the museums and monuments in D.C. I only went to club or shop. Definitely need to make it to the Spy and African American musuems! I too work remotely for last 2 years and said I was gonna do exactly what you did - work from another place and explore. Have yet to do it! 🤦🏾♀️

You definitely have to go someday! So many cool things to see, and for free! I wanted to go to the African American museum but it was sold out for weeks so keep that in mind.
