14:00 most people would call it walking through a swamp with flies everywhere but you see how it is a paradise and thats what i love about your vids man. Pls do more of the survival ones tho where you build your own shelter they are my favourites

I know you most likely don't know because no one is taught this but most of the time aussie aboriginal people don't like to be called indigenous or at least none of my family do but i also think someone like my uncle or another elder teaching him would be a cool video.

@@tyrellkelly5616 interesting.,. I’m from Redfern, have koori friends and none have an issue with it. Was at the block for apology day no issues with it. They are proud of being indigenous to the land. I’ve worked with NGOs in indigenous communities like Bowraville and with artists like Jack Charles Briggs and Blak Douglas all identify with the term and have no shame. Surprising to hear of your negative view on it. Just out of interest are your parents both aboriginal?

@@inobi30 yes both my parents are koori I was told that being called indigenous wasn't an issues just that a lot of koori people like my family would rather be called aboriginal or koori

I love these long survival videos. I just lay back, put my feet up, and enjoy some snacks. You are hands down one of my favorite KZreadrs, and I like how I almost feel like I'm with you on these adventures. I also learn a lot of expressions by watching you, and some of them are really funny "Blowing its tits off". Keep up the good work! You are awesome

I just noticed when he reached location, mat showed us the spear and I saw that he has added another steel spike to it. Cause when he made it, it only had three spear tips, but now it has four 😂❤ Love you mat, keep posting your knowledge 😉

This is what I was looking for. Going out on a boat and then fishing aint the same as when you go on a survival challenge, so I'm glad for the return!

Actually looked pretty comfortable there Matt. I'd like to see more outback survival situations, get a few k's away from the ocean, eat some bugs instead of oysters. Since it was so cool watching Maky catch her first mudcrab, how about a series where you teach her how to make fire, find and purify water and eat...bugs.😉

use the hook end from one of your sacrificed crab hooks, and make it attachable to the other end of the spear, then you have two tools in one. also you could use the file to file in some barbs on the prongs of the spear for better results of keeping the fish on the spear.

Man, love your channel, only discovered it recently. I really appreciate how selective you are when you’re fishing/hunting, often catching and releasing if it’s not necessary to keep it. I don’t eat meat, fish, etc personally but I would in situations like this. Hope you and Mack10 have a wicked holiday season. Stay safe amigo.

This sort of survival stuff i love with a passion but dont do it often enough. Starting to think now with some time off i could go out on some adventures as you have inspire me to do so. Love all your vids, either solo survival or your adventures with Maky. She is an awesome chick and you guys seem perfectly matched to each other and are living the dream together. I'd love to see more survival vids but based on a SHTF situation such as prepping, societal collapse, bugging out, what to carry in your bug out bag, surviving the upcoming food shortages and famine, protecting your food supply, surviving the coming global blackout & internet outage. How to survive with no societal structure such as shops, hospitals, police, ambulance. How to avoid becoming a victim of the Zombie apocalypse we are headed into. That's just my thoughts, if that type of survival interests you. I'd be happy to see you continue doing exactly what you are doing and I'll continue watching .....until the power goes out.....and I have to hide from the zombies.
