CONGRATULATIONS ON THE COFFEE!!! You can see how happy, and proud, you are to have it for TA Outdoors. I hope your daughter grows up and wants to go camping with Daddy. It would be cool to see you two together, like you and your father.

OIlskin, wool, and lamb steaks: it doesn't get much more old-school than this.

The forest beckons us to go hiking, fills our thoughts. You can't stay at home anymore! You literally rip your jacket and backpack off the hanger. You set off on a journey where there are no people, and nature is especially beautiful. The smells of wet needles and last year's foliage are carried by warm air, which, like a powerful stream, passes through you. You can't get enough of them. Smoke-smelling camping food and clothing. The forest accepts us as we are. We are his guests, not his hosts. And we are grateful to him. How can it be boring for someone in this world, where you can look at the pattern of veins on a green leaf for several hours. Great video. 👍

That's not easy to do in Europe. Pretty much every piece of woods is protected, digging into the roots is illegal. I couldn't even do that in the military on army property. It takes a huge amount of paperwork and permissions to be able to do that kind of thing. He's lucky he knows someone who owns this privately, otherwise even the camping would be illegal in a public forest

the x4 24hr overnight camping and testing survival ration foods was so cool to watch :)

I bought a small bug head net a few years back and to this day is one of my best investments, you never realise how bad they can get in the uk!

Bug net for the win! I use it when Canoeing and camping by Lakes.

Tim is an awesome guy and the stuff he makes is amazing with the most upmost attention to the product use and build

I watch this from my XBox, but I got this up on my phone just to say I'm happy to see a fellow Englishman doing this, I haven't done it myself though I want to, other videos I watch are from channels like Stephen Wallis and Wranglestar.

Such a cute little house you made in 75 minutes! And that was the best visual of a personal perspective to making a jam knot! Best I’ve seen you explain it, and you were best to begin with. Your Da should be proud, you getting better and better. I have little moss or cramp balls. I may grow citronella or some such, to use fresh. Punk wood would substitute for cramp ball, yes? You really are an inspiration for this old lady!

Good to know there's another outdoors guy dedicated enough to make real coffee in the bush! With the aeropress, see if you can locate a steel filter. It allows some of the oils to go through that are caught by the paper filter. It gives a result a little closer to Espresso.

As a Brazilian, I do appreciate my coffee... And yours looks awesome! Made me want some! Loved the name and design as well! Hope it's very successful. And I believe this is my first ever comment (??) on your videos. I've been enjoying the channel for a few months now and have to thank you for the awesome content! Cheers!

🇨🇦❤️Thank you again for another thoroughly enjoyable video. I love going with you on your adventures especially because I’ve been on my own in lockdown for about fifteen months and counting. (I’m ok though because I’m kind of a solitary type and I feel badly for younger people that have missed so much). I follow a few people on KZread and some of them play a lot of music in their videos and that’s fine if I happen to like the music, but the fact that you don’t need a soundtrack is one of the things that I appreciate most about yours. The sounds of nature make beautiful music, in my opinion. Thursday’s would be perfect from my perspective because none of the other people that I watch regularly put out their videos out that day, so yours would give me something to look forward to each Thursday. I couldn’t help think of your wife when you spoke about getting some sleep. When my daughter was little, I vowed to myself that someday I’d catch up on the sleep I lost and now that I’m entering my late 60’s, I’m finally doing just that. I hope your wife is able to get a good nights rest from time to time. Also, you made me laugh when you mentioned the word carnage because living with a two year old is like living with a small and hyper drunk person sometimes. 😂

Really good idea for the wooden frame for a shelter , tempted to do the same with a British army poncho next wild camp. Well done on keeping the channel fresh with new ideas.

I think you could have used just the bank line with a zig zag pattern from the lower side rail, over the top around the opposite side lower rack and back again. Perhaps with a loop on each rail. This would work I believe and keep your rope longer for reuse. Just a thought. GDB

I so enjoy a tent with a floor. Yours being open front back and bottom seems so much less comfortable. Not complaining at all. I love to see you and your videos roughing it. I love the buildings you make best. Keep up the great work.

My boys & I have been binge watching your channel! My 8 year old has been asking to watch only bushcraft stuff for the past week or so. Btw I’m still getting all the notifications 😉

Get yourself a pack of reusable cable ties at 20-30 cm for making tripods etc. If your still keen of tying everything please consider using the clove hitch, with an overhand knot to secure (if need be). I grew up in a family of sailors and climbers. Every time I see people using this weirdo jam knot.. duh! Good knots are easy to tie under every condition, hold tied and can be opened after being under tension. There's absolutely no need to cut a rope ever. If you ever need a knot that does not need to be opened (easily) again, use a constrictor knot, which is a version of the clove hitch, which tightens without tension in itself. Besides that.. love your channel! Great variety of in and output.

You're lucky to have survived the night without Jaxx to protect you!

Really like your channel...I've got to say thanks for your 15 tarp setups video, I recently bought my first 10x10 tarp from Free Soldier and I used your video earlier today to help me setup the Adirondack style shelter. It came in handy and I think I did a pretty good job setting it up for my first try, thanks to your help! Keep it up, love your videos.

I think the most fascinating part for me is the cramp ball fungus bug torches. I have kept an eye out for them every time I go exploring/hiking, but have yet to find one anywhere. I also love when you explain the different knots.

You can find them on dead or dying ash trees. Normally easier in winter as there is more deadfall on the ground from the stronger winds.

Set upload times and dates only work for people that are super eager to say FIRST. I'm simply the kind of person that is generally comfortable watching last months uploads next month. I also do not do push notifications, since the day they introduced it that system has been either broken or used punitively. /subscriptions will list out 100% of the videos as uploaded by the folk I watch and that is good enough for me as well.
