Solo In India's Famous Slum 🇮🇳
I vistited one of the most famous slums in the world, Dharavi. I got warned not to go there without a tour guide but I wanted to get the authentic experience and it certainly lived up to my expectations.
Dharavi is a locality in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, considered to be one of Asia's largest slums. Dharavi has an area of just over 2.1 square kilometres and a population of about 1,000,000. With a population density of over 277,136/km2 , Dharavi is one of the most densely populated areas in the world.

I've been getting negative comments about why I am going to slums and “promoting India as a poor country” so I'm going to explain here why I do it and maybe some of you will understand. Even though Ironically I've filmed 4 videos showcasing Modern Mumbai (Taj Palace, Phoenix Mall, Marine drive and Imagica theme park) but people are saying I only films slums. My channel is based on OFF THE BEATEN PATH travel destinations not upper class neighbourhoods and shopping malls.
Harry dont apologise for anything, a certain section of society is permanently offended by everything and they like to ruin normal life for everyone else, you are a polite respectful young man and your videos are excellent
Thanks to british govt.,,, because they r the reason why we are now at this point, but they never apologise what they have done for 200 years continuously,,, but we improving a lot day by day and right now we are 5th largest economy in the world,,, hope in the future we will become global power once again,,😌
there are 280,000 homeless people living in UK. that too after the country looted more than 50 trillion USD in today's value during its rule in India before which India was the richest country in the world. please show their living conditions too.
most of the people who live in the slums of the big cities in India are the migrants from small villages. they all have their houses In the villages. they live in the slums because of the low rent. if they start earning more in the cities then they move to bigger homes.
FYI: There is no 'Mens Only" car. It is a Common car for both genders.
Hey Harry, i apologise from behalf of the kids in dharavi that were saying hello to you i think at 16 minutes past but i am apologising to you because it is shameful that the kids were actually swearing at you in hindi which is just embarrasing for Indians to have some of the youths like that.
this reminds me of favelas here in brazil like in rio de janeiro
Don’t worry about those criticizing you about visiting slums Harry. Do what you feel is right for you and what you want to experience. These videos are interesting and immersive and that’s what matters most. Cheers brother
He’s good looking!.!.
Those kids were cursing you in a funny way 😂
That uncle ji that you bought the hat from warmed my heart… very honest, kind and god fearing man…🙏🏽

The genuine reactions from the children says it all and sums it all that happiness is not defined by the amount of money in one's hand.
