SUVRVing didn't have a lot of good things to say about his vehicle from this company. I'll pass
That's so cool! A friend of mine is the superintendent at City of Rocks. He's a great birder, so if you're going to near there again, he's the guy that can point you to specific birds you might be wanting to see. He taught me tons about birds when he was a State Parks interpreter in NW Arkansas.
man, you're living the life! and Idaho is so damn beautiful, no matter if north or south... this makes me wanna get outside so badly, even though nature isn't that stunning here
I think you should get a Suburban for your overlanding trips. I have 2 of them and love them. When maintained, they are really reliable vehicles and cheap and easy to fix or work on. My 2004 is more reliable than the newer vehicles we own and we drive it everywhere, it has 206k and will go to 300k easy until replacing the engine and trans. I also have a 1996 2500 that is a rock solid vehicle as well. The suburban is a versatile vehicle, and in many ways better I think than the Subaru, more reliable and can hold more and tow heavier things than the Subaru.
Thanks for sharing your trip with a Suboverlander. I watch his channel and Tristan’s. Sadly, Tristan totaled his on the way to Yellowstone recently. I have a Subaru Ascent - lots of room in that for a conversion.
Awesome! City of Rocks is the best.
Chase - livin’ the dream, Inspiring others. Working on my own Subaru buildout, piece by piece.
I live in the Southern Idaho area and it’s underrated. Beautiful out here when you know where you’re going. I hope suboverlander does Subie builds in the near future.
First you cutting kindling with the leatherman (and somehow not getting a 2” splinter in your hand,,,and then heating your jetboil pot over a campfire🔥🥘,,,, my anxiety went through the roof 😳🥵😵💫,,,,but damn dude you pulled it all off again!👍🏼keep up the tailgate camping vids👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

I agree! It’s a beautiful state with so much country to explore. I have not, I’ll have to take a look!

@@ChaseChristopher1 definitely recommend it. Another spot out near there is the marsh, it's incredible in spring time after snow melt!
Chase, what app do you use to find your elevation?
Had a car broken into in slovakia. Snagged passports, moms point and shoot camera and phone, few hundred bucks in cash etc. Luckily, same story, they left all my kayaking gear in the back. Thank Goodness, I was there for world championships so sourcing more gear wouldn't have been possible.
Great video, thanks for taking us along chase

Hey there!(: did you register a camping spot or did you just find one? Did you need a permit?
Hey Chase! Thanks for the video - just finished listening to your feature on the KZread Creaters Podcast. Question - do you do any post color correction on your videos, or is it perhaps coming from your Variable ND Filter? Thanks!
@ChaseChristopher1
Жыл бұрын
Hey there! Yes, I do some color correction. I am actually (unfortunately) a bit color deficient so that is always a challenging part for me. The ND does also ad a bit of a unique coloration to the footage. Hope that helps!

@@ChaseChristopher1 Ah gotcha. I appreciate the information! Will have to give that a shot. And for what it’s worth I think your color grading looks great ☀️
what shoes do you wear hiking?
Do you still have the tacoma? Any plans for building that out?

I do! I have been wanting to, but haven’t gotten around to it yet. Hopefully sometime this year!
Very likable guy
Sorry to hear about your Subaru Chase, hope it all gets sorted out, fixed and your wife gets her belongings back 🤞🏻 The suburban looks pretty sweet but a bit big for my taste as Im also a fellow outback owner. As usual, the music soundtrack and the photography are amazing. Keep making these great videos! 🛶🏕🏔🚘

Thanks, Lawrence! We’ve gotten most of the stuff replaced/fixed now👍 Glad they didn’t take the cameras! Thanks for the comment & continued support! Take care.
I’m wondering why you and Tristen from Suv RVing aren’t good friends and in alliance.

If that was a Washington plate i saw. NEVER leave anything important in your car. I'm from Washington. It's horrible for that. Lol

The rental does have WA plates… I agree, I’m much more cautious in WA than I am here in ID!
Sorry what a bummer on the subaru break in. Awesome camping, climbing and scenery! Keep the videos coming. Subscribe everyone!

Hey, I will mark you down and stay in touch if we can get something figured out! Could you send an email to chase@roadtoridge.com so I have your info? The house still needs a lot of work, I’ve been really busy with work/school/video and haven’t been making much progress recently. I’ll get back to it soon hopefully!
Hi Christopher, this going to sound weird but I been looking for my Christopher on and off for almost 20years.......his dad lied a lot and was able to get custody, but I was supposed to visit every other weekend, his dad changed their number and moved, I found him a couple of times in grade school, but every time I got close Martin (the dad) was gone again, and you probably can imagine trying to find Christopher Jones is not easy....... anyway was wondering if you was him,( I miss him so) and you look like you could be him😇😇😇😇😇😇😇😇if not (😞) your still an adorable youngin 😉
Great scenery. Looked like a pretty cool climb too. However, maybe if you didn’t talk or really show yourself at all, it would be a perfect video. PS 🚒👎🏻 🤣
