Solo Camping in Scotland | Wild Trout Catch & Cook

Solo wild camping in my hammock, fishing for wild trout and cooking it over a fire... nestled in a patch of forest next to a remote Loch, listening to Cuckoo calls and the fire crackling...
What more could I ask for?
Join me on this solo adventure as I explore a remote Loch in Scotland. Using my Amok Draumr 5.0 Hammock I set up a cosy camp sheltered from the winds. Build a fireplace and enjoy the solitude in pristine wilderness.
Leaving it better than I found it, I managed to take out some rubbish with me, please BE that person to contribute positively when you go out. You will inspire others to do the same, and together we can make a real difference to our beautiful planet.
Until the next adventure,
Eze

    Ditto the advice on not surrounding your fire with rocks from a river or lake bed. I learned that the hard way years ago when a rock exploded. I know you are dedicated to leaving no trace. That would be pretty difficult to do if a rock was to explode and splatter your guts and brains all over your campsite. It would also be a disservice to me and others who enjoy vicariously exploring the great outdoors through your videos (not to mention a shocking sight to behold).

  • @EzeAdventurer

    @EzeAdventurer

    2 жыл бұрын

    @@foresteroutdoors haha - yeah so getting out is easy enough, it takes a bit of practise, the key is setting your bum back further than you think. The one thing I don't like too much is when I need to unzip the mosquito net, you kind of have to lean forward, and that puts your centre of mass way forward and kind of tilts you quite a bit if you know what I mean. Re zipping it back up creates the same dynamic. IT's not a huge deal for me but something to be aware of. All the best bud!
