Amazing, I wish I had found this video sooner! This place is truly amazing and looks so much more beautiful in summer! This was very similar to the 4 day trip my friend James and I did here a few months ago. Such a stunning place to go.

Definitely I live not far away and grew up fishing those hill lochs. Had some great days on that loch and some really bad days the trout are either hot or not at all

Great camp Eze, especially the first night's stealth camp. You have to watch the winds in those inns though, they'll break tent poles every time...less midges though which is a bonus.

Midge swarms, the only notable wildlife danger in Scotland (except the odd Capercaillie). Worth it for those views though. Also having lived in the uk all my life i've still never seen an adder in the wild haha

Great film Eze. I wild camped on the mountain adjacent to that loch last summer. I really wanted to return via the loch but the weather really worsened overnight. Definitely one for the future though. 👍

Good times Eze, good times. At the risk of being obvious, I’m assuming Naturehike don’t supply a splint for broken poles? You saw some amazing reptile life, I’ve lived in Scotland for 47 years and never seen an Adder. It’s such a pity about the Midges, they really can spoil it if the wind drops below maybe four or five mph. Cheers. 👍🏼

Hey bud! Yeah they didn't supply a splint actually but they recently sent me a replacement set of poles so that's awesome! I know re the snake!! I actually went to grab its tail thinking it was a grass snake, only later realising it was hissing and was in fact an adder! Really grateful for seeing it though, beautiful. gotta love the midge fest!!!

@@EzeAdventurer Ha ha ha, I wouldn’t recommend grabbing it. 😂 It’s venomous but it wouldn’t kill a healthy man. But you were remote and it might make you quite ill for a few days. Will you carry a tent splint from now? Damn midges, spoil everything.

I'm using the DJI AIR 2S I believe, really happy with it! I crashed it in Patagonia, it was submerged for 10 minutes and it's still going strong, unbelievable. Hey buddy! Haven't but actually was using my GoPro more this time... maybe it films better than the iPhone in general...? I'm filming in 4k, 30 frames per second... sometimes it automatically loads in lower resolution? so worth checking? Glad you enjoyed it!

Hi mate, honestly because it's the only matt I have / use. You can easily get away with something lighter with less R Value! I like the Xtherm, and use it all year round!

That’s normal at that altitude in Scotland, also it s a forestry so they grow them to cut them down unfortunately . I know ..
