Mind blowing to think that river dumped all that wood there, love it! The fire looks like some kind of shrine to warn of the evil river monsters! Roll-mat? That's an airbed!! :D ATB John - Gaz.

I enjoyed this episode. When you are trying something new and visiting a new spot your enthusiasm comes across in the video making it an enjoyable watch. (From another camper who gets his fix from watching you since I don't venture out much during the colder months.)

Epic video ! I bet its fun having all those rocks to play with. I have a sand bar picked out in the river. As soon as the water goes down this spring, I`ll be out there. Thank You for bringing us along. That sausage had to be good ! ATB

Amazing camp and loved that raised platform fire. I bet your feet were bright red after your river crossing, and you're right bare feet in icy water does feel like thousands of sharp wasp stings all at once. Take care John, I really appreciate all your videos!

As you were walking around your tent, talking about how it was 5 below over night I saw your wet now frozen trainers just siting on the ground, I expected you to notice them and possibly curse because you'd forgotten to put them by the fire the previous evening, but you were totally oblivious to them and much more concerned with the amount of ice on your tent, definitely a man thing, I did find it very funny though😆😆😆. I do enjoy your videos. 😁😁

Love your vids John! But seriously, you need to invest in some waders! Maybe they're called something different in the UK, but in the US waders are like really high rubber boots with suspenders. (Most often used for fly fishing) They will keep your feet and legs warm and dry when you are crossing the river. Say goodbye to frozen cold "river shoes"....
