Sausage trees! Those butties look lush.

Second vid I have watched and I am about to watch a third. I am an ex pat (Welsh, grew up near Brum) living in Southern California. If ever you want to come do some Tacoma born camping in Anza Borrego, Joshua Tree, Big Sur, Sequoia! Or even Death Valley. Hit me up! Loving your work! I miss UK camping a lot but KNOW you would love truck camping as much! Great work!

Great videos john as usual love it hope all is well bro.
and not a pot noodle in sight! cooking is just off the charts lol
Love these videos mate, and the landscape you live in, bloody hell seems so remote in your area, Wiltshire is becoming to close to London now. not the same any more might move further north.
Awesome
I always enjoy watching your adventures. You didn't cook any this time, but what type of bacon do you usually bring on your trips, it always looks so good?
Tim nice but dim.great videos
Edward sausage hands! :D Good job chef, love your videos. keep it up. We in the trade say ermmmmm Shit. haha Yes they are, they do the job but they don't taste great. Unless you put hot sauce in them. Then all you taste is hot sauce... which is great! The army ration packs come with Tabasco for a reason! :D
as usual, great video, be great to see you make a rotisserie powered from the river at
Nice video, but it could be longer, haha! Nice spot you have been there! I agree about the food rations, hard to find any good ones! Cheers!

Hahaha cool yeah the ration meals are not for me hahaha
Looks like another awesome trip! But is it really camping without bacon? Haha good stuff :)
next time you do a river camp you should mae a bridge and mini fort
I'm always laughing at those people that eat those ration meals on certain youtube channels and pretending it's really good. They are absolutely shite those things! :D
@gavmedia5674

I don't know why they bother for only a few nights. There's absolutely no need to be eating a ration pack. Especially not in February as the weather is naturally cold enough to preserve food. Each to their own though.

anuther good vid marra just down the M6 from you id sooner be in the woods this time of year to cold on the river bro
awesome stuff, am a friend of Adam's would love to help do a video and help out. Test out some scenario situations and try new bushcraft survival skills.
I had a mental image of you and your mate floating down the river on airbeds pmsl😂
Nice one brother! Kinda unusual to see you using trail food but I bet it wasn't too heavy to carry ;-) Cheers, Marc

great video, I like the camping spots . is there fish in the river ? if there is I would do some fishing for one of the camp meals. take care you guys.
i used to like the 24 hour army rat packs etc but the price of them is sackless!!!!! you keep with the fresh fare mate! yer vids are class. have you thought about doing any semi under ground bug out shelters? i dont mean a mine shaft but maybe something dug out of the side of an embankment? just a thought! keep up the good work!
tim must be mental leaving his bike there for two days lol
Great vid as usual, thanx for showing the flood alarm, that will come in handy. You my have covered the Adtrek sleep mat, but what do you think about it?
Don’t know how or if you get notified after a while from the original video release date, but I was shocked when you said you were going to eat rations. What was it you said they tasted like? Oh yes “????”. Haha! You redeemed yourself when you made the ribs and chicken thighs (my favorite). Glad to see you enjoy a couple of nites outside the city again. Bye Bye!
good
Do you know if your flood detector would have worked when frozen a bit. Glad there was no landslide tidal wave surprises. Handling heavy stuff/wood will slow your back down, be safe and remember to use your legs too.

Thanks again for another entertaining video

Carlisle. Do you ever use old tech Flint-steel-charcloth to start your fires? Also, I see you camped next a river. No fish to catch for dinner?

From my experiments, the old Flint + steel + charcloth, is fast! One or two strikes and you have a glowing ember to then put into your tinder ball. I was wondering about the fish being in season and the legalities of catching them.
What do you do with all the leftovers
mint mate. what cooking times do you have on all the meats you cook?
