Homelander, I know you probably won't read this, but I want to thank you so much for everything you have done for us. First I lost my parents on that famous flight. I know you did everything you could to save them but THEY had other agentas and so THEY stopped you. After that my brother was killed on his shop when a supporter of Stormfront attacked him. But I saw you on the Dawn of the Seven and I was so happy that you defeated Stormfront. And the others might prefer this film because of Nostalgia but I thing DotS is much better. Thank you again
I remember when my AP history teacher showed this scene to teach us about the cold war! When she turned the lights back on half of us were crying. I am PROUD to be an American with Vought heroes protecting and teaching us about true freedom!! 🇺🇸

It is a movie based on real events not a documentary. Don't get your facts wrong.
Although for the younger generations this film may seem somewhat ridiculous, Red Thunder changed the way of making films about supes, with a very high budget for the time and Vought putting all their efforts, many do not know that there would not be a "Dawn of the Seven" without a "Red Thunder". Truly a movie

I remember watching this classic as a kid. One of the most honorable and respectable heroes of all in my humble opinion, he cares so much! Love you Soldier Boy!
When my dad was younger he loved this movie this was his favorite action movie for a reason. he even used to have a soldier boy comic book sign by the man himself
"God would have mercy...I wont" Rambo: "Wait a minute...
It honestly breaks my heart that such an icon of valour, perseverance, strength and American Excellence was captured and tortured by the very evil empire that he stood against. Knowing that the man who led our boys at D-day was brainwashed and forced to turn against his nation, that he loved so dearly, smashes you the broken pieces with a hammer. RIP Soldier Boy, you were the greatest of your time. If only you could have met The Homelander, you would at least be at peace knowing that a worthy successor was ready to fill the void you left behind.

My dad would watch this every week, he especially liked the “black noir solid gold special”
Truly a cinematic masterpiece. Remember watching Soldierboy's films back when I was a kid. Unfortunately my parents fought a lot, so it was the highlight of my day getting home and just wishing I could be a hero like him one day. A part of me even thought of how lucky someone would be to be his kid. What a hero they would be.
I still can't believe an American hero like Soldier Boy could have succumbed to Soviet brainwashing, he always seemed invulnerable and unyielding in his love of freedom. 😢 I'm just thankful we have a true hero like Homelander looking over us now, a man whose heart is as strong as his skin and would never betray the ideals he has always stood for! ❤️

My grandma told me he was a true hero. Genuine, caring, compassionate and humble. Very humble. When she was deployed as a nurse in Normandy, he would always take his time to visit the hospital's nurses to thank them for their hard work. She had such stars in her eyes when se talked about him. A true American Hero. You'll be missed Soldier o7.
Sad fact: the actor who played Colonel Yuri Valisivich Kasimov died from a fire on set shortly after filming his final scene. It’s so great that Vought kept him in to honor his memory of acting.
Back when Vought movies were actually good. 20 times better than dawn of the seven
It’s interesting! You can see in this clip one of the first uses of the ‘Wilhelm scream’ that you can see in a lot of Vought movies nowadays, it’s cool to see the Easter eggs prop up in the films. My brother was a huge fan of Soldier Boy. He watched all of his movies growing up, and wanted to be just like him. As it usually does, life took a turn and he became a priest. He was driving to church the other day and disappeared… cops said they found him lying on the road with a bullet wound in his head. Poor guy must have killed himself 😭 if only Soldier Boy was there to save him!
I remember when my dad took me and my brother with me to see that movie. A great time ❤
I lkke like how the movie portrays Soldier Boy as someone who can get hurt by punches from regular humans. I'm sure Homelander wouldn't want to be portrayed like that in a movie of his
I teared up watching this. Such a legendary hero
It's about time they added it to Vought++! Personally, I always felt that Red Thunder deserved that sequel. I mean, yeah, I know. Soldier Boy does show up in numerous other sequels and tie ins, but they all were team up movies and they focused on more than just him. I was devastated when I heard of Soldier Boy's passing. So many arcs and plot threads were dropped. Even the script leaks were solid, instead of going all out action and bigger, a more introspective and quiet storyline focusing on the aftermath of the first movie and tie ins while ALSO bringing back returning villains as manifestations of his inner conflicts? Vought would NEVER make a film like this again, it would be too controversial. What happened? You had Soldier boy fighting terrorists, but now you can't have that or else it'll be offensive? Give me a break. Now all they fight are alien threats, or have our heroes fight each other. I'm getting tired of it, and to hear rumblings of Vought potentially rebooting the shared universe? I think that's a big mistake. You saw the fiasco that was the original Dawn of the Seven! The Bourkecut wasn't perfect but it was leagues better than the theatrical version, they need to stick to the overarching narrative that started HERE in THIS movie! And who could forget this movies unforgettable soundtrack too! Basil Poledouris didn't have to go all out but man he delivered! So much soul... Rest in peace Soldier Boy. Gone, but not forgotten. #RIPSoldierboy #RestoreTheBourkeVerse
