I'm impressed by the thoroughness of the coverage and curious about how the presenter gained access to film inside the manufacturing plant. It's surprising that the manufacturers allowed the entire process to be captured on video. The process begins with the placement of an EVA sheet on toughened glass (TG). Imported solar cell boxes are visually inspected and loaded onto a magazine. The stringer machine then converts the cells into a string, which is soldered using the same machine. The solar cell string is placed on top of the TG and EVA sheet, taped, and visually inspected. The tapes secure the strings in place with the EVA panels. The string undergoes an EL test for defects, followed by lamination and cooling with air-cooled fans. Excess lamination is shredded, and the assembly undergoes manual visual inspection based on a checklist. Aluminum frames are fitted through a process called aluminum frame punching. Sun simulation tests and IV curve generation are conducted, and the junction box is sealed and fixed at the back. Finally, the panels are packed and dispatched.

It seems a lot of manual work is involved in this manufacturing unit. Hammering the frame of panels may increase the risk of micro-cracks and should be avoided. I hope the R&D department will look for other ways to replace manual framing (hammering to keep the solar sheet intact within the frames).

So it's based on assembling. That major part of Solar Panel is Solar Cell. If you don't make it from scratch than you are not manufacturing it.
