There are many of appliances (blender, tea kettle, rice cooker, sandwich grill) that use 400 watts or less, an EB70 is a great entry point Solar Generator that can run these appliances, Remember that you need to have your Solar Panels connected and generating power so you don't drain your Solar Generator while you as using it, best to use these appliances during the daytime while the sun out out.

I like the one generator per room for me. Lead, got my 195 watt panel and 50ft cable going thru the wall to my EB70. Charged it for the first time this week. A day and a half of overcast and it was fully charged.... so was I about the whole experience.👍🏻

I'm thinking of stationary on my house now. I bought the Jackery 1500 for 2 purposes. Backup unit for any outage. 2nd is for going on long trip like camping, beach and outdoor activities. The entire house would cost about $17,000. Presently the government is giving incentives on it. Electric companies can either thank you for giving them electricity back and or bill you ZERO DOLLAR. All of these batteries would eventually die just like the cellar phone but they last about 10 years. It all depend on usage. The more you use, the more degrade it will get.

Cut your lights out for one day! Such GREAT advice.I have the all american solar oven. I love it. I bought it, because I wanted to bake bread and more, without heating up the house extra. It's HOT in Oklahoma, and I bake in it. I haven't done any real cooking in it... but I may try at some point. Your rocket stove looks awesome. I may have to look at a brick one... at some point. But I have a gas stove here at the house, and that worked GREAT while we had no power during the Oklahoma Ice Storm last fall. Simplify your life, don't go clamping... :) Great advice! I always camp... never clamped, but just ordered a bougeRV fridge freezer... that will be my clamping. Thanks Lead!

Lead I just got back from vacation and saw this video. I remember when I said I purchased the EP500 and you asked what I was trying to power. Even though it was my first solar power station purchase, my thought was that I wanted something that could power whatever I want it to power and that there is no such thing as too much power. It shipped earlier this month and should arrive Mid August. In the mean time I purchased the EB 70 and the champions 2500 duel fuel generator, the bougeRV, and a Big Buddy Heater. I mean the solar generators alone, could bring your electric bill down by half with the proper setup. It's cost effective in the long run and reduces EMFs on the body too which is also harmful too.

If I wanted to purchase a solar generator, at least 1000 watt, to use to alternate between my refrigerator and freezer... which brand would you recommend? Jackery? Bluetti?

The price plus the power that they use and the prep work on the food before you use it was a no go for me. I’d rather can, dehydrate, smoke, pickle, brine, or salt dry my food

Just found your channel. Love it. Question: I bought a thunderbolt solar panel at harbor freight and was planning on getting a go power plus to hook it up to like you were showing in your recent video. After seeing this video I’m considering the eco flow river. Can I still hook up the thunderbolt solar panel to the eco flow? I’m new to all this so this may be a dumb question. Thanks.

Not a dumb question at all. That would be an excellent choice. Please go with the Ecoflow to go with your panels. You will be much happier. The gopower was just a starter kit for a friend. It won’t do what “you” need it to do.

@@leadfarmer73 so the ecoflow is not proprietary on the solar panels? Right? I can use any solar panels I have?

Lead, I'm a widow and live in an HOA development. I would like to power my home, especially during winter months. Live in mid-Atlantic. I was thinking of a small wind turbine on my shed or garage. I have a dish on the garage roof now, so thinking no HOA problem with small turbine. I'm most concerned about pumping water out of my well if electric goes out. Any suggestions?

Where do you store your solar generators given the concern re lithium battery fires? I have 2 1200 watt solar generators that can be connected. They have helped us during 2 outages. It’s. Ice they are so quiet. Dual fuel backup generator. The fridge/freezer is a drain, so we need to solve that (probably with getting a new small garage fridge.
